Soccer Camp

Chapter 2

I wake up this morning at 6:30 to be able to get to camp early. I walk into my bathroom and put my hair up in a ponytail and put on sweatpants and a tshirt. I grab my bags and go downstairs.

"C'mon" I scream throughout the house. "it's time to leave"

Nobody answers so I decide to go outside. When I walk out the door my dad is in the car waiting for me.

I get into the car as I put my bags in the backseat of the car as we begin driving away.

We pull up into a big school that is covered in red brick thats like 6 stories high.

I say goodbye to my dad and get out of the car. I walk up the stairs and when I reach the top I turn around and watch my dad drive away.

Now it's just me and this camp. I walk into the schools dorm building and grab my folder with my name on it Mia Sawyer. As I begin to walk to the girls dorms I look through my folder and find my room key. Room 243 is the room I'm assigned to. I walk down the long hallway full of the rooms and find my room at the very end of the hallway. I slide my key into the key slot and walk into my room.

Inside there is a pretty girl with light blonde hair and blue eyes with a pink and grey sundress on, sitting at a desk on her computer. She turns around to look at me and when she does she stands up to greet me.

"Hello my name is Allie and you must be my roommate", she says as she shakes my hand.

"Hey my name is Mia Sawyer and yeah I guess I'm your roomate it's nice to meet you"

"Well I kind of already put my stuff up over by the back wall so I guess this is where you can put your stuff" She points to the area thats closer to the door.

I set my bags onto the bed that is now mine and begin to unpack and put my stuff into my dresser and my shirts into my closet. I put my sheets and blankets onto my bed and take my laptop out of my bag and shove my bags at the bottom of the closet. I lay on my bed and turn on my laptop.

" So it looks like we'll be spending the next 3 months together so who is thee Mia Sawyer?"

I turn to face her on my bed while she's sitting crisscrossed on her bed looking at me.

"Well I'm her for soccer camp so I guess I play soccer and I don't know really know what else I guess"I don't know what else to say..

"Okay. Well I'm Allie Johnson and I'm here to play basketball but I also am pretty good at soccer but I don't actually play it"

"I thought this was just a soccer camp?"

"Nope it's for all sports but they sent a letter saying what they wanted you to play here at Edgewood. So for you soccer and for me basketball"

"Oh that makes more sense now"

"Yup but I'm going to go down to the courts outside before it gets to dark outside" Allie says before walking out the door.

I look at the time and see it says nine o'clock. I close my laptop even though I didn't end up doing anything on it and walk to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

I look at the mirror at fairly pretty girl. I have long soft brown hair and dark blue eyes, I have straight teeth with soft skin. I luckly have no pimples on my face.

I pull my hair up into a messy bun and take my makeup off. I go back into the room and grab a soccer tshirt, a sports bra and some plaid pajama pants and walk back into the bathroom. I take my clothes off clothes I have on now and slip on my bra and tshirt I then put on my pajama pants.

It is now 10 and I decide to crawl into bed and go to sleep because I plan on getting up early for I can begin practicing as soon as possible tomorrow.
