Once all the excitement blew over Bella sat on the ground reading her letter over and over again. She couldn't believe that this was actually happening, all the times she thought she was a freak because of the things she could do, but it turns out she's a witch who just hasn't got full control of her magic yet. And to make things better, her mother was a witch too so it runs in the family!
"It says here they've enclosed a list of supplies I need" Bella looks up and stares into her mother's eyes. "Does this mean we have to go shopping?"
Renee laughed. "Of course, you didn't expect they send you all your supplies did you?" Bella stayed silent making them all chuckle. "You need to get over your dislike for shopping some day Bells, I'll go book the plane ticket"
It was no big news that Bella absolutely HATED shopping.
Bella's eyebrows shot up as Renee stood from her place on the floor and left the room to book the ticket. "Plane ticket?" Bella squeaked.
"You can't buy all your school stuff here" Charlie spoke up before adding on. "Although, that would be easier"
"Are you coming daddy?"
Charlie shook his head 'no'. "Afraid not Bells, where you're going Muggles aren't allowed" He cracked a small smile. "Unless of course both of your parents are muggles which in your case isn't so"
"What on Earth is a Muggle?" Bella and Phill both said at the same time making Charlie chuckle. Bella had so much to learn.

Both mother and daughter landed in London two days later with smiles on their faces and a skip in their step. They checked into a hotel and because Bella couldn't wait any longer -- not even so she could sleep -- they both left the room they were staying in after dumping their bags to start on their shopping. Bella skipped in front of Renee not knowing where she was going but she knew that if she went too far, or if she had to stop, or if they had arrived her mother would call out to her.
Charlie was back home in Forks since he wasn't allowed to come, he was waiting by the phone for their call and chuckled once Renee told him all about her excitement to get going. He missed his little girl dearly and couldn't wait for her to come back home so she can tell him her stories. He had already sent an owl back to Hogwarts confirming Bella's attendance so they didn't have to worry about that whilst they were having their girlie time.
Renee placed her mobile phone back into her handbag as she stopped in front of a tiny building, Bella was still skipping ahead of her unaware that her mother had stopped.
"Bella darling, we're here!" She called out to her daughter.
Bella stopped skipping, turned around with a grin on her face and ran towards her mother until she was stood in front of her. She looked around hoping to see some shops that she can buy her equipment for but all she saw was a tiny pub.
"Here?" She asked pouting and placing her hands on her hips like she was going to scold her mother. "Mum, this isn't the time to get drunk! We have to buy my school supplies so I'm all set for when I start!"
Renee chuckled and placed her hand on the small of Bella's back guiding her further towards the building. "I'm not drinking sweetie, this is the entrance to where we need to go." She gestured to the building. "Welcome to the Leaky Cauldron. It's a quite famous place"
It was a tiny, grubby-looking pub. If her mother hadn't pointed it out, Bella wouldn't have known it was there. She watched as people passed by it like they didn't see it just like Bella did when she skipped past it. Now that she had noticed it, how did she miss it? It stood out with the dirty windows and cracked bricks, it didn't look safe which made Bella uneasy.
