Samantha King,

What a pleasure it is to be writing this note to you. This morning when leaving my English class I came across a small, possibly A5, notebook with a red background and white polka dots as the cover pattern, very nice choice if you ask me, and my first thought was that a class member had left it behind.

I discussed this with the teacher, Mr. Leech, and we came to the conclusion that it was yours. [I could have saved myself the trouble of asking by opening the notebook to the first page, but I am not the smartest cookie in the jar.]

Lucky for you I found the notebook filled with millions of, wonderful, ideas. Some of those poems are so deep I nearly shed a tear. I decided I'd return it and not just share it with the whole of the student body, just to save you the embarrassment of all of your wonderful, but sometimes cheesy, ideas being whispered about around you. That's how nice I am.

I hope the notebook finds itself back to you, incase I got the wrong locker.

Yours Sincerly,

Riley Davidson.
