Duets // Daniel

You were a pretty well know YouTuber, with just under 2 million subscribers. Your best friend, Daniel Seavey, was in a band. You both, had quite a passion for one thing. Singing.

You had just arrived in California, thrilled, you grabbed your luggage and began to head towards the terminals so you could catch a cab to your new apartment. You pulled your luggage behind you as you made your way through the unfamiliar airport. You had only been here once before, a few months prior to deciding to move out, when you had checked out an apartment and stayed with your best friend Daniel Seavey. You and Daniel were best friends on American Idol, but sadly you went out a little before Daniel. You two stayed best friends and FaceTimed nearly every day since. You and Daniel had really missed eachother and had seen how well you both were doing with your careers and decided to meet again. You smiled recollecting the memory.

You were so excited, you were seeing your best friend Daniel Seavey for the first time in two years. You had butterflies in your stomach and the nerves began to kick in.
'What if he doesn't like me anymore? What if I'm uglier now then when I was before, what if he hates me?'
The nervous thoughts still ran through your head when you heard screaming.
"Y/n omg Y/n it's you! It's been forever! Y/n I'm over here!" You heard that all too familiar voice, the one you have fallen in love with. Daniel.
You turned around, dropping everything and running into his arms. Everything-one disappeared and it was just you and Daniel. Okay so maybe you liked Daniel a little but who wouldn't? It's Daniel for goodness sake.

"Y/n!!Y/n omg Y/n. Come here. Not zoning out are we?" The butterflies in your stomach erupt as you hear his beautiful voice. Daniel. You turn around again, pulling your luggage quickly to him and wrapping your arms around him. His nose resting in the crook of your neck.
"It's been too long, Daniel," you whisper.
"Too long," he replies. He grabs your one of your suitcases as you grab the other. You two begin walking, you heart racing and you didn't think you could be any happier. Until Daniel grabbed your hand.

You get to your apartment and Daniel helps you unpack. You had had all your furniture sent here, and Daniel, who had been holding onto your apartment keys for you, had allowed the people to put it in the house yesterday. You and Daniel were laughing and dancing and singing as you set up your bed and moved furniture around. 'Thinking out loud' blasted through your speakers and Daniel came over to you.
"Hello m'lady, would you do me the impeccable honour of joining me in this dance?" He asks in as posh of an accent as he can pull together, while bending over to bow to you, with one arm behind his back and the other out for you to take hold of . Laughing you reply in a very terrible British accent.
"Yes kind sir, I would love to join you in a dance." You say between giggles as you grab onto his arm. You both dance and spin around the room, only tripping up every five seconds. You both sing while dancing and an idea pops into your head. You should go live on Instagram. You mention the idea to Daniel and he agrees turning the speaker off. You set up your phone and Daniel sits next to you. Your fans all come on and so does Daniels as he snap-chatted about it. Everyone begins commenting things and a few of the fans comment "do a duet!!" or "duets?". You and Daniel look at eachother, smile and then decide that doing duets together would be cool as. So you do and you sing love songs, Why Don't We songs and breakup songs. You and Daniel were currently singing the last part of 'Say you won't let go' while glancing over at eachother. By the closing of the song you and Daniel were looking into eachother eyes. You were so mesmerised by his ocean blue eyes you didn't notice he was ending the livestream and leaning in. Only did you notice when your eyes closed and your lips touched his.
