Bad news//Zach

Third person Pov

The boys were on stage, singing the last song of the night. Zach was having a blast, excited to see his girlfriend Y/n. He had missed her and he was finally doing a show in her home town, where she could actually see him perform. He was known to be extravagant on stage, so extra and so happy. And Y/n was so excited to finally witness it for herself. But she didn't, and she never ever will. Although Zach, had thought she was witnessing him then and there, he thought she was somewhere in the crowd, cheering for him. That made him even happier on stage, that made him bounce around more and sing his heart out, eyes scanning the crowd looking for the face he loves, silently dedicating each song to Y/n. Little did he know, Y/n never made it to the show. She never got to see him dance and sing or look for her in the crowd. The boys were halfway through the last song, when Reese comes running on stage.
"Zach, Zach I'm sorry I'm so sorry" she yells and jumps into his arms. The crowd aww's and quiets down so that they can hear Reese. Zach puts his microphone to her mouth so she can speak and everyone can hear.
"What is it Reese?" Zach says looking at her concerned.
"It's Y/n," she begins but is cut off by Zach.
"Yes I know Reese, she's here in the crowd tonight. I love you Y/n!" The crowd cheers and Reese begins crying. Zach hugs her.
"Zach.. she isn't here." He looks at Reese in disbelief.
"No Reese, of course she's here." He begins, but is interrupted by Zach's mother running on stage. She takes Zach in her arms and begins bawling. The rest of the boys look at eachother, clearly confused at what is happening in front of them. Zach's mum starts speaking, loud enough for the audience to hear.
"Y/n didn't make it tonight. She was driving here and was hit. She died on impact. Zach, I'm so sorry." She turns to Zach who looks as if his whole world has fallen apart.. and that's because it has. Everything he's ever known, everything he has ever loved is gone. Ripped away from him. He drops to his knees. The other boys didn't know what to do. All they could think about was Y/n and Zach. And how broken Zach looks. Zach is pulled of stage by security and the other boys follow after. The fans are devastated.

At the limelight after party, Zach doesn't show up. The other boys are there, reassuring the fans, but Zach is in the dressing room thinking. His mind takes him to dark places. He thinks about life without his love. He thinks about every moment they had ever had and how she's gone. He thinks about how he never got to kiss her until their lips were sore, never got to tell her how much he loves her until he lost his voice, never got to have kids with her and raise them together. How he never got to ask her to marry him, how he never got to grow old with her. How he will never get to do these things. How he doesn't want to do these things, if it isn't Y/n doing it with him.

How he doesn't want his life, if Y/n isn't in it.
