Chapter 9- After Gymnastics

Annie's P.O.V
    After I got fitted for my dress I went home and told Jayden what happened. "When Katie first moved here I remembered that she was your friend so I was nice to her. She was kind of mean to me for some reason I just put it behind me. Then she started dating Hayden and anytime they would pass me she would just smirk and roll her eyes at me even though I've never had a crush on Hayden in my life. And before they dated, Hayden would hang out with Kenz, Johnny, Carson and I then he became distant. It's like Katie has him completely brainwashed." Jayden told me. "He's like her own little robot!" I said.

   We had pizza for dinner then I went to bed early since I have my first day of gymnastics tomorrow.

   School was pretty easy today. Nothing interesting happened. Jayden and I decided to walk home. Once we got home, I changed into a leotard and grabbed my gym bag. "Bye have fun!" Jayden said as I was walking out the door. "Bye!" I said. I got in an uber and went to gymnastics.

   I walked inside my gym. It looked oddly familiar. "Well look who it is!" A familiar voice said. I turned to my right and saw Rebecca Zamolo. "Rebecca!" I said. I have her a hug. "I haven't seen you in forever! I knew we were getting a new gymnast today but I didn't know it was you!" She said. "Didn't know you would be here! This is so exciting!" I said. "Come into the change room and let me introduce you to your new team!" Rebecca said. I followed her into the change room. She introduced me to 4 other girls; Molly, Ashley, Ella and Tessa. They were the level 10 girls at my gym. They seemed nice. We started training and it wasn't that bad. We did a lot of conditioning and went over the little things we did wrong when we did skills. 4 hours later, gymnastics was over. I went to the change room, got my gym bag and said bye to the girls. I walked out of the change room and saw Hayden. "Hey." He said. I ignored him. "Annie." Hayden said following me. "Can you leave me alone I'm waiting for my mom." I said. "That's why I'm here. Your mom couldn't make it and Jayden's car didn't have gas so your mom called me to pick you up." Hayden said. "No. I'm ordering an Uber" I said. I did not want to go into a car with Hayden. "You don't have to talk to me. Please Annie." Hayden said. I decided to go with him because ordering an Uber would not be free whereas going with Hayden would be free. I got into his car. There was a picture of him and Katie on the dashboard. "Oh look my two favourite people." I said sarcastically. "Haha. Very funny." Hayden said. "How are you even dating her." I said. "She's so rude. Don't you hear the things she says." I added. "She's nice when no one else is around." Hayden said. "Remember when I hid in your closet at your house when Katie was in the room. No one else was around and she was still being a bitch." I said. Hayden didn't say anything. We pulled into McDonalds. "Why are we here?" I asked. "Because I want a burger." Hayden. "I'm getting fries." I said.

   We walked inside and we ordered our food. I grabbed my wallet to pay. Hayden put his and on mine. "I'll pay." He said. "No let me ju-" I stopped talking because I realized Hayden already payed. We got our food and sat down. "I could've payed." I said. "I don't care." Hayden said. "Moody much?" I said. He didn't say anything. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing." Hayden said. "Tell me." I said. Hayden didn't say anything. "Hayden come on." I said. I may be mad at Hayden but I don't want him to be upset. "She's acting weird." Hayden said. "Who?" I asked. "Kate." Hayden said. "Why?" I asked. "I don't know. Since yesterday at Dylan and Brec's house all she want to do is kiss me. It's like she wants everyone to know I'm dating her. She always tries to kiss me infront of teachers and it makes me uncomfortable because.. you know they're teachers." Hayden said. I didn't say anything I just kept eating my fries. I changed the subject because Hayden was clearly being uncomfortable. "What are you going to be for the Halloween bash?" I asked. "Probably some matching couple costume with Katie. What about you?" Hayden said. "Something matching with Jayden and Kenz." I said. "Cool." Hayden said.

     We finished eating and Hayden drove me home. "Thanks." I said. "No problem. See you at school." Hayden said. I walked inside my house. "Where were you?" Mom asked. "McDonalds with Hayden." I said. "Okay." She said. She's been very nice to me since we moved here. I walked up to mine and Jayden's room. "H. A. N. N. I. E. Hannie is rising!" Jayden said. "Nope." I said. "Aw." Jayden frowned. "Want to go Halloween costume shopping with Kenz on Saturday?" Jayden asked. "Sure." I said. I wonder what we are going to be.
