Annie's P.O.V
We made it to school early so Jayden can show me around. We went to the office and I got my schedule. Then she showed me my locker. "This is your locker, and mines right beside!" Jayden said. She showed me how to open and close it. Then she opened hers. She took off her sweater and stuffed it in her locker. Underneath the sweater, Jayden was wearing a short crop top with a V-neck and a push up bra that gave her major cleavage. "My mom would kill me if she saw me wearing this but this is what everyone here wears. And thank god for the Victoria Secret Bombshell bra!" She said. I laughed. "I need to go pee. I'll see you soon!" Jayden said. "Bye." I said. I looked at my schedule. "Annie?" I heard someone say. I looked up.

"Katie!" I said. I gave her a hug. "I missed you!" I said. "Oh my god I missed you too! What are you doing here?" Katie said. "My mom and I moved her yesterday. I'm living with Jayden for a bit. What about you?" I said. "My family and I moved her about 3 months after you moved to Louisiana. Brennan had a major water polo scholarship." Katie said. "Cool!" I said. Then a boy with brown hair and muscular arms came up from behind Katie. "Hey babe." He said. She turned around and kissed the boy. The boy looked at me. Then I figured out who it was. "Hey Hayden!" I said. "No way! Annie!" Hayden said. Hayden became incredibly hot in the past three years. "I'm guessing you moved here?" Hayden asked. "Yup!" I said. "I'm guessing this is a shock to you." Katie said. She grabbed Hayden's hand and lifted their intertwined hands. I smiled. "I ship it!" I said. I've got to admit, Hayden and Katie dating is a bit weird but I'll get used to it, even if I am a bit jealous. I looked at Hayden's right wrist. On it was a blue hair tie. He still wears it I thought. I looked down at my right wrist. There was a purple hair tie. I don't know why I still wear the hair tie. I haven't talked to Hayden in ages.

The reason why we wear the hair ties of each others favourite colours is because we can always be together even if we are apart. I know it's cheesy but we came up with it when we were twelve.

"I got to go. I'll see you around." Hayden said. Katie pecked him in the cheek. "Bye." I said. I waved at him with my right hand, hoping he could see that I'm still wearing the hair tie too. I saw him look at my wrist. Then he smiled. When Hayden turned the corner, Katie faced me with a serious look on her face. "Listen," she said in a stern voice, "Everyone is going to be all happy that you're back but, don't you dare think that you can take Hayden away from me." She said. I didn't think Katie could be that rude to me. "I would never try to take someone's boyfriend away from them. Especially Hayden, since he's my best friends boyfriend." I told Katie. "Best friend? You can't just pop out out of nowhere and be on my best friend list again. You're talking to the head cheerleader Annie." Katie said. "Head cheerleader? What happened to miss I want to go to the Olympics for gymnastics?" I asked. Katie used to be head over heels for gymnastics. "I grew up Annie. Gymnastics is stupid. Only losers do it. I never realized you became a loser." Katie said. "I never realized you became a bitch." I said. I walked away. Except I didn't know where I was going. Great way to start school.

Plot twist Katie's a bitch! Will Annie tell Hayden what happened? I hoped you liked this chapter!
