Chapter 21

There they were, on the road, with Anu on Ani's chest just letting out her rage to console her little 10 year old self.

"Anu, shhhhhhhhhhh..." Ani whispered as he gently caressed her hair and kissed her head.

"Ahhhhh!!!!!!" Venba woke and bawled which just freaked the crap out of Ani and Anu during their emotional time.

"Venba! Are you OK?" Anu held Venba's palms tightly and enquired.

"Anu! Anu!!.....I saw! I saw...I saw....!!" She stammered in anxiety.

"YOU SAW WHAT?!" Ani asked out of frustration and fear.

Venba was just so pale, her palms turned pale and her eyes were wide open of utter shock.

"I SAW....I......I SAW.....I....I...I....I..
.SAW...A...A.......FAM.....FAM.....FAMILIAR......SIL....SIL...SILHOUETTE!!!" She looked deep into Anu's eyes and said.

"What?!" Both of them gasped in wonder.

"Silhouette of what? Who? Where?" Ani questioned.

"A silhouette of a masculine figure. Not too skinny, with a jacket next to th...that bench..." She pointed out to a point quite far away.

"It was Familiar?!" Anu asked.

"YES!!! YES IT WAS INDEED VERY FAMILIAR!" She replied.

AniRudh instructed the driver to drive back towards where Venba had pointed out to. When they reached the location, Venba just hid her face in Anu's chest. Turned out, it was a real person.

Anu feared. She wasn't bold enough to go near it as the weather was just intimidating her even more.

Ani, took the plunge and walked towards him with slow steps. The figure was turned towards the other side and Ani walked behind the figure.

He went close and touched the shoulder of the person. He just seemed to be unmoved.

AniRudh went next to the person and sat as Anu and Venba were there near the car, shivering with cold and fear.

"B...B..Bro, May....I....I...Kn...Know.....who...You....Are?" AniRudh asked with extreme hesitation.

He just waited for the person to reply, but all he could hear was pin drop silence.

He asked again. "Excuse me brother, what happened to you?"

"Failure bro." He replied .

"Failure ah? What failure? Love ah?" He asked wondering as the voice sounded very much familiar.

"Life eh failure" he replied with stillness.

AniRudh pulled out his phone for the flashlight to see who it really was, as some deep suspecting ran through his mind.

He flashed the light.

"THUD!"

He was jerked back.

He couldn't believe his eyes. He was in utter state of shock. Anu quickly looked towards the side where he was because of the blarring noise. She just looked at terrified Ani. She made Venba sit inside the car and ran towards him.

She stressfully helled Ani's cheek and asked what had happened. She just tapped his cheek and AniRudh just  remained unmoved. Anu turned around slowly to see who it was.

It was him, with his olive jacket. It was him, with his wrists slitted, just right below the vein and blood stains all over his shirt. It was him, The man who bore true love in his Heart for more that 10 years. It was him, who could sacrifice anything and everything for his queen.
