Chapter 17

The sun shone in the morning sky, the birds were flying really high. The next morning bloomed.

"Dei! Come out stupid! How long will you take to shower you dumb head?!" Iyyapan yelled.

"Just Another minute da!" AniRudh yelled back.

It is was they're day two in Madurai and now it was time for them to leave to Kodaikannal.

Anu woke up like a tiny adorable toddler with a red puffy face from all the crying. She didnt really realize what day it was. She just sat there on her white bedding and looked out through the window; out at the busy roads of Madurai.

She quickly grabbed her phone, just like any other girl would, and scrolled through her social media.

Her phone was so slow that it barely unlocked. It was beeping continuously.

It was the tenth day, of the eleventh month. Her eyes grew big. She was shocked, and finally a smile appeared on her face.

Venba just walked out of the shower with her white robe on and she was just drying her hair with the towel when she saw Anu smiling like and idiot at her bright screen.

"Good Morning, Your Highness! What's up? Any happy news?" Venba asked sarcastically.

"Hahaha, no babe!, today is..." Anu explained.

"Oh wow!" Venba greeted.

Anu woke up happily yet with a small hesitation in her heart about last night.

She walked into the bathroom, brushed her teeth and took a cold shower, all ready to leave to Kodaikanal.

She picked her new outfit, and all her fancy Jewelry and let her highlights down. She put on her makeup and realized she looked like a hamster with puffy Cheeks and crazy dark circles.

When she walked out of the vanity, Venba was just jumping around like an Idiot, playing with Iyyapan and AniRudh was just leaning on the wall, admiring their childishness.

Just when Anu walked in, AniRudh jerked and stood straight and looked down. He placed his hand on the neck on his jumper and kept swaying hesitantly.

Anu expected a loud burst of noise and flowers and wishes and Confetti. But, nothing seemed to happen which dissapointed her deeply.

But quickly her vision was black. Someone covered her eyes from her back. She could smell a fragrance of cologne and Roses together.

She chuckled In a confused tone. Seeing this Ani's blood boiled. He couldn't withstand what was happening. He was just pretending to hate her, just because he loves her truly.

Anu lifted her hands slowly towards her eyes to reveal who it was.

It was none other than Karthik.

Just when she pulled her hands away from her eye, he twirled her swiftly which made her Skirt twirl, her long soft locks and her sparkly accessories dangle, he quickly pulled her towards him by her waist.

"Happy Birthday, Maharani!" He went close to her year and whispered, smelling her fresh floral perfume.

Anu, smiling gently pushed him away from her which left Karthik blushing.

Anu just looked at Karthik blank for a second, as her eyes began to swell. She dropped her head down, and slowly looked at Ani from the corner of her eye, and then slowly looked back up at Karthik.

She hugged him quickly and began to to cry.

"Thank you Karthik!" Anu said faintly.

"Hey! Why is my queen crying in her birthday? What's wrong honey? Who made you cry? Tell me!" Karthik said, slowly caressing her back.

Anu broke the hug and wiped away her tears and said with a small smile," No one, I just felt happy to recive the first wish from you.

Immediately, Iyyapan followed by Venba rushed towards Anu and hugged her tight.

"Happy birthday my little girl!"

"Thanks Anna!" Any replied with a small smile.

AniRudh just stood there blank.

It just kept pricking her that Ani didn't even know it was her birthday.

Anu again, slowly, slightlybturned her head and looked at him with glassy eyes, which killed him from deep inside.

AniRudh, tucked his hands in his pocket, bit his lower lip and turned away and looked at the ceiling just hating himself for what had happened.

A few moments later, they all got ready for their bus to Kodaikanal. It was 7:55am, November 10th. They left to the bus station and boarded their bus.

Anu and Ani were sitting opposite to each other, on the window seat. Venba was seated right next to Anu, with her duffel bag next to her, While Next to Ani was Iyappan followed by Karthik

Anu was leaning on the window, trying not to look at Ani and Scream,

"HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW MY BIRTHDAY YOU EFFING JACKASS?"

The whole journey was extremely quiet, Anu just drifted to sleep, as she was up till 2 am last night. She looked so adorable that no guy could resist starring at her.

She was a princess, dressed up in a luxurious yellow Outfit, her skin glowing just like a dewy rose petal, and her eyes closed was as elegant as a bloomed lotus flower's petal. Her hair, as black ebony, soft and lustrously flying in the cold rainy winds. Her lips, were just like the soft velvet rose, bright and pink. She was just to be defined as Irresistible.

AniRudh just couldn't take his eyes of her.

Her tresses swirled and and moved like a thousand waves at sea. But one of them, fell over her eyes, which blocked Romeo's path of admiring Juliet.

He couldn't resist. All the friends had been thinking that they both were currently non sync.

They were just talking and chit chatting about all the problems in the world including "The reason behind the death of a mosquito in the Atlantic".

All of a sudden, Ani made a quick gesture which made the "News Discussion" pause for a moment while Ani leaned forwards and tucked her strand of hair behind her ear so he could continue on with his "business".

All of them were perturbed by his instinct. They were just gawking at him.

He didn't seem to really bother, he just smiled and leaned back and places his palms on his cheeks and drifted of to sleep. Looking at her made him feel like his mother's sweet lullaby.

In about one hour, they reached Kodaikanal.

As Pree_Summer had informed me about the end of all that deslike issue were back here!
