I ran as fast as my legs would let me, I never stopped crying. A despair passed through my body as I thought of my parents. What is happening? I was so confused and alone, I've never felt like this before and I was only a 6 years old, I was suprised I was still alive.

The sound of guns shooting decreased by the time I came on the station, yet I saw no one, no grey van and no aunt Lily nor cousin Peter. Afraid more than ever, I breathed heavily as I stand still in nothing but my pajamas and comfy slippers. I winced when a yellow light appeared out of nowhere. Finally. I thought.

I saw my aunt running towards me and I instantly jumped into her arms, I felt safe. She wrapped her arms tightly around me as I quietly sobbet against her chest.

''Are you okay? Did they hurt you?'' Lily's words rushed fast when she cupped my salted cheeks. I shaked my head and she sighed. ''C'mon sweetheart, let's go,'' She took my hands in hers, about to go but I stopped.

''W-what about mom and dad?'' I stuttered shakily.

She shaked her head, her eyes sad. ''They will be okay, we need to go.'' She didn't try to convice myself alone, but herself too.

''But..-''Now!''

We were now running, I kept holding us go slower because I couldn't run that fast in my slippers. Once she noticed my condition, she grabbed my legs and I wrapped them around her waist so that she was now carrying me in her amrs. Not so soon, we were in the car with Peter, his knees were pressed against his chest while he was slightly rolling back and forth. Lily checked if he was okay and we were ready to go.

Right when she turned the engine on, a shoot hit the window next to me.

''Mommy!''

I jumped out of bed abruptly, my forehead wet as my chest raised up and down in fast pace. A relief passed over me when I looked around realizing I was back in my room and that was just another, bad dream.

I sighed and licked my lips, my throat was dry and I had a urge to go downstairs to drink a fresh water, so I did. I stood off my bed, quietly not to wake anyone. When I reached down the kitchen, I poured my glass with a cold water, took a sip and sighed. After that I decided to take a seat on balcony.

It was so peaceful, the stars were shining above me and I had to close my eyes to enjoy the moment. I ignored the fact that it was 4am and I have to wake up in couple of hours to go to college. Not to mention it was my first day and I was scared shittles. I was just hoping everything goes well.

''Another bad dream?'' I jumped at the sound that messed my thoughts. I glared at Peter that was standing behind me, his arms crossed together as he leaned his body on the frame.

I sighed and looked back. ''Yeah.''

''Are you okay?'' I nodded and gave him a small smile.

''Don't worry about me, you can go back to sleep. I'll go back to bed in few minutes.'' I assured him, my eyes never leaving the spots I was observing.

Peter rubbed his neck, not knowing what to do in this situation, he never does and I didn't expect him to do anything, he understood.

He took a deep breath. ''Well I should go back to bed anyway, I have to wake up for work in an hour. You sure you're good?''

I nodded again. ''Yeah, see you later.'' After we shared our goodbyes, I stood up from chair and stretched. I yawned and suddenly felt very tired, mentally cursing at the thought of needing to wake up again. I walked to my room, jumped in my still warm bed and went back to sleep.
