'Here, you can sit next to Mr. Bieber today.''
When he said that, I turned my head and looked at the bench he nodded at. There was sitting a boy with spiked brown hair and annoyed look. I couldn't help my blush that crept on my cheeks of embarrassment, feeling like he doesn't want me there. The way he moved his left leg off of chair that was meant to be mine, I could say I was right.
I sighed and smiled one more time at profesor. My look was on the floor as I walked not so quickly to my seat, trying hard to ignore glances on me. I bite my lip as I sat and took the books from my bag and put them on wooden desk.
''Okay class, today we're gonna learn about myths-''
''Didn't we already learn them in elementary school?'' Someone from the front class interrupted before he had a chance to finish his sentence.
He sighed and rubbed his eyes with one hand. ''I'm sure you didn't learn all myths, Miss. Hodney.'' He half spat as he glared at her, mad cause she was trying to made him look stupid. I couldn't blame him though. The girl raised slightly her hands in surrender, profesor rolled his eyes and began to write on board.
I opened my notebook and started taking a notes. I noticed from the end of my eye that Bieber kid didn't bother to do anything, he was just sitting and staring at nothing. Maybe he didn't notice that we started working, should I tell him?
I cleared my throat before I spoke. ''Arent you going to write anything?'' my eyes were settled on his books beside him, too shy to look directly in his eyes.
He looked at me from the corner of his hazel eyes, his face not moving its position. He licked his lips but said nothing. All so soon he glanced away and continued rolling his pencil between his fingers.
I raised my eyebrows and muttered ''okay then'' under my breath. I sighed and turned my attention back on my notebook.

It was a lunch period now. Thank God. Most of classes went pretty well, but that didn't stop others to whisper about me, I tried to ignore them as usual. While I was walking to cafeteria, I couldn't help but thought if Susy was one of those girls who would be nice to you and the next second trick you and laughed at your face for falling into their bully trap. If that makes any sense. But all of those thoughts vanished when I saw her sitting at the table in left corner, she was on her phone.
I sighed in relief and walked towards her. When she spotted me, she smiled and said hi. I returned with same greet as I sat opposite her.
''So what do you think?'' She asked suddenly. I furrowed my eyebrows.
''Think of what?''
She rolled her eyes playfully. ''First day on college, silly. How did it go?'' Oh.
I took a deep breath before answering. ''It went...pretty well I guess,'' I took a sip of my orange juice that I've made home. I suddenly thought about Lily and Peter, I miss them already.
''Thank you, by the way.'' I thanked Susy, catching her by suprise.
''For what?'' She frowned and smiled slightly.
I shrugged and pouted my lips. ''For inviting me here for lunch, It really means to me, escpecially since I'm new here and don't know anyone,'' I murmured softly.
Susy chuckled and waved her hand at me. ''You don't have to thank me, I just know the feeling when you're a new girl and scared for not being good enough.'' She said hesitantly and began to type something on her phone.
