Justin Bieber's Point of View:
It was the truth. Julia really was something different. Even though I could sense her being tense and all shy around me, she refused to give in unlike other women who would jump my bones when they saw a chance. I was thinking about her matter since the accident and I can't say I wasn't reassured when I saw her doing okay. I was slightly taken back. Who would have said she would come here just to thank me for what I did? I surely wouldn't.
''-thank you for caring-'' I can't say I was caring about her, maybe little but not that kind of 'I want to protect you' caring. I was just doing what I thought it will be the best, after all, I didn't want her to die. When she visited two days ago, it sort of made me pleased that she was grateful for my actions. Just her small 'thank you' left a big impact on me. You can say I had a lot of unappreciative people in my life, that's why I was the way I was back then.
I turned my intention off my shoes that I was tying to a clock on the wall. It was 7:15AM. I went in gym to finish with my early practice so I was good to go to college. I still didn't know why I agreed with my mom to send me to that hell hole. I guess I just wanted to escape from my dad. He was a bad man. He was a drug addict and did bad things all the time, yet my mom still sticked around him. It's love, she said. But I didn't believe in such a thing. Sex, cash and box was all I had, and I couldn't ask for better.
''Practicing before school I see,''
I glanced at Lucas for a second as I went back on tying my shoes but said nothing. He was leaning on the door frame with his hands crossed together and smug look on his face. Lucas was a great friend of mine, more like a brother. He was there for me when no one else was and knew even my deepest secrets. He was also a fighter and taught me a lot of things; he taught me how to fight and be your own person. But despite all that, he was a huge pain in the ass.
''It wasn't anything. I just needed a good wreaking before I surround myself in annoying place with annoying people. Did you need something?'' I stood up and headed to drink a bottle of water with Lucas following my every move.
He shook his head. ''Nah, just checking on you.''
''I'm not a baby. I know how to take care of myself.'' I rolled my eyes and groaned quietly. I hated when he was acting like this. Like I needed someone to babysit me 24/7. I was twenty for fucks sake. Although I appreciated his concern and all but still.
He chuckled and raised his hands in defense. ''I didn't say you are a baby, now did I?'' He considered smartly. ''Don't be so serious all the time.''
''I'm not.'' I sent him a stern look before I turned my back to him, searching for something in my bag. He sighed and we both stayed silent. Eventually, he broke a silence after few seconds with a question that took me by surprise.
''How's Julia?''
Furrowing my eyebrows as one, my hands stopped seeking and my glance raised up. Sighing in frustration as well, I dropped my glimpse and went back on doing what I was doing in the first place. ''Why do you ask?'' I asked lifelessly.
''Is it a crime to ask such a thing?'' he rolled his eyes, getting irritated already.
''She's alright.'' I answered back a maybe bit too harshly, but he let go as always. I knew it was a mistake to told him about her. After taking Julia to hospital I drove myself here in gym, where I spent few hours releasing my anger and all aggravation I kept in me. It was around 11PM when Lucas found me and somehow persuaded me to tell him everything, so I did. In fact. He thought I had some kind of crush on Julia and that it was very generous of me that I took care of her. I told him he was just being ridiculous.
