The next morning, I wake up in my room.
I decide to continue sleeping, and I dream.
I wake again with the sound of Galen speaking to someone.
"Its no problem, yeah I'll let her know, I'm so sorry man, I will talk to you later" He ends the call and I wait in silence.
Galen walks through my bedroom door, and makes his way to the edge of the bed.
"Good morning" I say trying to read his face.
"Morning" He says with a long face. Something is wrong.
"Who was on the phone?" I ask sitting up now.
He lays down, and closes his eyes for a second or two.
"Ollie, he can't come over today, family emergency" He says looking over at me, with sad eyes.
"Okay" I respond, with hesitation.
Silence. I don't know what to say next.
"Is he okay? is Fern okay?" I ask curious and confused. Galen smiles and grabs my hand to kiss it.
"They are okay" he responds.
I stop questioning him and close my eyes again.
