Sakura's POV
I watched as the Uchiha's face changed to a confused look, processing my question. "What do you mean?" He asked, sounding slightly offended. I laughed a little, trying to make my rudeness not sound so offensive.
"Well you've never talked to me before, we've gone to the same schools since... I don't even know when," I thought back to me admiring the raven-haired boy from a distance. I'd always had a crush on him, I wouldn't say I was in love with him, we never got to know each other.
"Really?" He said awfully loud, students turning away from their conversations or doing their work. I mouthed sorry to a few, but Sasuke seemed to careless. He was a lot like Naruto...
"Yeah," I nodded, trying not make eye contact. "It would make sense you wouldn't notice me, I'm not that noticeable." I smiled, turning to see his face scrunched up in a frown. "What?" I said, my smile fading. Way to go Sakura, fucking things up with a cute boy already.
"You shouldn't talk about yourself like that, I think you're very noticeable, I just was too blind to see an amazing person right in front of me," I could feel the same burning sensation in my cheeks again. A smile tugged at my lips, even though he still gave me the same annoyed frown.
"That's really sweet," I responded, his face slightly lightening up. I noticed the redheaded girl behind him, giving me the stank eye. I rolled my eyes, turning around swiftly. "You have a girlfriend?" I angrily added, my face scrunching up like his. I pouted, ignoring the Uchiha. He then began to laugh like an insane person, making me jump.
"K-Karin?" He gasped, "My g-girlfriend?" A few kids glanced at us again, as he gasped for air from his laughing. "I don't h-have a girlfriend," He added, trying to calm his laughs. I felt a ping of relief and excitement in my stomach, as I turned to look at the redfaced male. "Even if I did, it defiantly wouldn't be anyone like Karin," he sighed, cringing at the thought of the redhead. I muttered a giggle, as he slightly smirked. He put his hands behind his head, watching me with squinted eyes.
"What?" I asked, my blush reappearing on my cheeks. He leaned forward, poking my cheek with his long finger.
"You blush a lot," He said, before giving me a soft smile. I could feel my cheeks burn brighter before I poked his cheek back.
"Well, maybe you need to blush more," He rolled his eyes, moving back to his previous position.
My phone buzzed again in my purse, making me remember it had went off later and I never checked it. I pulled it out, dreading to see who was texting me.
2 new messages!
My phone brightly exclaimed on the small screen. I opened my inbox, seeing a text from an unknown.. And Sai... I paused, before opening the text.
Sai: Hey
"Who is Sai?" I jumped, shutting my phone with a swift move. I hadn't noticed the raven-haired boy leaning over my shoulder, reading what I was also reading. I glared at him, pushing him back into his seat. He rubbed his chest, giving me a pained look. "Ow, don't have to be so rough."
I rolled my eyes, returning back to my cell phone, "Don't read my texts, Baka," I reopened my phone, repeating the process of going to the inbox.
Unknown: Leave my Sasuke-kun alone!
I sighed, quickly glancing around the stuffed classroom. No one was looking at us anymore, not even Karin. It must have been her texting me right? Sasuke sighed, staring at me.
"What?" I said glancing at his bored expression.
"The bell is about to ring," he stated, making me roll my eyes. Yeah, sure, that's a good reason to stare at someone. "Who do have next hour?" He asked, immediately changing the subject.
