Sakura's POV

"Jeez, you live really far away from school," Sasuke said, his nose scrunched up. I sighed, everyone always says that, unless you're Ino. I looked out at the open fields roaming on the outskirts of the city. It wasn't a bad thing, I personally liked where we lived. It was nice not having city noises at all times of the night, but I've always loved being in Konoha. There's always this aching under my skin to live somewhere big, like New York or Paris.

Sasuke let out an awkward cough, noticing my silence. "Sorry, I'm just... Thinking," he nodded, leaving it at that. I kind of liked this Uchiha guy. He didn't just butt into my business like Ino. She would be all over me right now if I was acting like this. He knew when to let things go. (Little does she know. xD) I mean I already liked him before, but just looks wise, I kind of liked his douchy actions. Ugh, that can't be good, can it?

"How do you get to school without a car?"

"I usually can muster up a ride from someone, usually Ino."

"Ino, eh? She used to stalk me, I hope you know." I let out a chuckle, remembering when Ino had a strange obsession with Sasuke. I had liked him back then too, but I didn't want to get in the way of Ino. She was my only friend. She kind of still is my only friend, other than Hinata. I kind of have a feeling she doesn't really want to be my friend.

I realized how dark it was getting and felt a little bad. "You didn't have to give me a ride," I said glancing at the blue numbers on his radio. 6:03 P.M. For all I know, he probably had plans.

"I wanted to," I smiled, my cheeks feeling a little hot. Who would have thought the Sasuke Uchiha would want to give me, a nobody, a ride? "I heard you're a pretty good volleyball player," I glanced at him, but his eyes were glued to the empty rode.

"Team captain."

"Really?" He smirked, giving me a quick glance.

"What about you, big shot? Basketball and soccer?"

"I'm thinking about playing tennis, too." I let out a chuckle, realizing he was kind of arrogant. I guess I was too, ha.

"Hey, aren't you number seven?"

"How did you know?"

"I'm number seven on my soccer team," I raised an eyebrow and pointed towards his left, showing him where to turn. He nodded, quickly turning his blinker on. Hey, even if we are in the middle of no where, we still have to follow driving laws.

"That's weird, isn't Naruto number seven on the football team?" He nodded and we both chuckled.

"Team seven."

"Has a nice ring to it," he pulled into my driveway, scanning my house. I already knew dad wasn't home, off on some business trip, but mom wasn't either. Maybe she went shopping?

"Are you here alone?"

"Yeah, mom must be out shopping." I shrugged, grabbing my book bag and purse from behind my seat. He took the keys out of ignition sending butterflies in my stomach. What was he doing?

"Maybe you can give me a tour?" He let out a chuckle, opening his car door. Sounds just like him to invite himself into my house. I quickly got out, rushing to his side.

"And who said I want you here?"

"Oh you know you want me, Sa-kur-a," he purred giving me an arrogant wink. I rolled my eyes, trying to get ahead of him to my door. I glanced at the big window that gave away some of my house, everything was dark, giving me some chills.
