*Lelah’s POV*
“What do you mean you don’t know where he is!” Niall shouts at me anger flooding his voice.
“It means I don’t know where he is Niall. Cool it.” I say to him harshly.
“How could you have possibly lost him. Where could he have possibly gone. Did you even see him at all when he went back to get you. Maybe you even left him there to die so you could get away!” He shouts at me again getting in my face.
“ME! Leave Liam behind!” I yell at him in shock. How could he possibly think that I would do that to someone. Anyone. “You think that I would be such a cruel person as to leave someone behind. To leave LIAM behind!” I shout at him. I can’t believe this.
“Yeah I think you are.” He says to me with venom through his red puffy eyes. He turns away from me and knocks a shelf over. “How about we leave you behind huh? What if we just left you here to die!” He screeches. He comes charging towards me, but Harry grabs onto him and holds him back.
“Niall I think you need to calm down.” Harry says to him before giving me a menacing glare. Why am I the bad guy here! I just came to save their asses and they’re already turning on me. Again!
“Guess freaking what Niall! I would never leave Liam behind. I got injured, I AM injured and here I stand sticking my neck out to help you guys. He left to find you guys! And I couldn’t stop him in time. So I went after him, and I ended up here. So here I am fighting for you guys and saved you all! And now you’re threatening to leave me behind! AGAIN!” I shout at him.
I take a step away from him and turn my back to all of them, I leave my eyes facing the ground.
“We would’ve been fine without you.”
I raise my head up towards the one person standing in front of me who said that.
“Michaela. How could you possibly say that?” I say to her in shock.
“We would’ve made it through without you. Maybe Olivia wouldn’t be dead if you hadn’t of tried to help us” She says to me coldly before walking towards Niall and Harry and standing beside them.
I can’t bring myself to say anything. I can’t believe them. They’re such ungrateful little-
“Why are you guys being so mean to her? She didn’t do anything, to any of you. If she hadn’t of helped us we all would’ve died. All you want to do is pass the blame because it’s really our fault. Not hers.” Zayn says defending me.
All of them stay silent, and an emptiness of sound fills the room. I hear footsteps and see Zayn walking towards me. “Are you okay?” He asks me, concerned eyes looking down at me.
“Yeah um. I’m fine.” I say quietly trying to fight the oncoming tears.
“Are you sure? I mean you seem pretty beaten up here. Plus earlier you said you got injured.” he says to me quietly.
“Yeah I um stepped on a nail running from the biters and I’m kinda not in the best shape and on the verge of passing out so yeah.” I reply. “I’m just great.” I say sarcastically chuckling to myself.
“Can I do anything to help or-”
“No thanks I’m fine.” I say cutting him off and giving him a small smile before brushing past him and picking up some supplies on the ground.
“We have to get out of here.” I say to them stuffing the supplies in a small bag near by.
“Why?” Zayn asks me.
“Because we fired all those gun shots.” I say swinging the bag over my shoulder. “We just rang the dinner bell.” I say to him before looking over at the small group of people who currently hate me.
“Hey.” I say to all of them loudly.
They pick their heads up from the floor and look at me with expectant glances.
“Go find a car. We have to get out of here.” I say to them before heading towards the door.
“What do I do?” Zayn shouts to me.
“Make sure they don’t leave me behind.” I say coldly before walking out of the store into the bloodied parking lot of corpses.

A/N I know I know it’s short but I promise I have a whole nother chapter laid out all I have to do is write it and oh my god I’m so excited because there’s gonna be a new character coming and he’s my favorite and UGH I’m SOOOO excited. This was kinda a filler chapter and all but ya know. The next one will have a little more action and we’ll hear from our good old friend Liam! Hope I’ll update soon. Don’t forget to vote!
