Dear Scarlett.

It's nice to meet you.

I have a feeling we're going to be friends for a long time so let me start by telling you a bit about myself. Hope you don't get bored.

My name is Ginger Carson and I am a fourteen year old girl that goes to a public school in Perth, Australia. I am quite short for my age and I am bullied because of it but it's been so long, I don't even care anymore, haha.

I have shoulder-length dark brown hair that I tie into a low ponytail everyday for as long as I can remember 'cause I hate spending time on my hair in the morning, unlike the majority of other girls at my school.

What else do you want to know?

I like music but I hate sports.

I like art but I hate dance.

I like loose baggy t-shirts but I hate fashion.

I guess it'd be fair to say that I'm not like the average girl in today's society where freezing to death in a minidress at a Winter party is considered 'fashionable'.

My mother is a scientist who, right now,  is in Melbourne working for her three month contract along my father who is a lawyer discussing social issues with the Melbourne government in the very minute I'm writing this. I'm not all alone, of course, but maids and butlers are much better company than my own blood-related parents. Let's just say they're a little short-tempered and would like to physically let out that anger.

Some reasons include the fact that they are extremely prejudiced and the fact that they're rich makes everything worse.

'Wealthy people should have control over everything.'

'Poor peasants don't deserve anything.'

'Girls your age should be like this...blah blah blah.'

The fact that I was exactly the opposite of the girls my age didn't help at all. They don't like me much, even though they're my parents. I have a feeling that they wished I was never born or maybe they could have a different, better daughter than how I turned out. Going to a public school with parents who earn millions a year is just what I mean, but I was never really close to them anyways so hey, who's complaining?
