Death awaits you

The wind stilled, the leaves dropped to the ground as they were pulled down by an immense force. The ground rumbled leaving everyone shaking on their legs, desperately clutching onto each other to stand straight. Everyone's eyes were still stuck on the limp body of Kim Taehyung, blood leaking out of him creating a puddle where he laid in. Jungkook was frozen in place, unable to move or say anything as it felt like his whole world had just crashed down.

He couldn't care less about the black fog circling like a tornado in front of them. He wished he could pinch himself and wake up in bed next to an alive Taehyung who would be peppering him with kisses and telling him how much he loves him. He wished he could make the Kiané disappear but his wish was quickly turned to horror as a demon rose out of the black fog, red eyes and horns shining in the sun light.

Everyone stumbled backwards except for the hybrid who dashed past the awakening demon and knelt down next to his boyfriend. Jungkook checked for a pulse but felt nothing, no heartbeat pumping blood inside Taehyung's body. Was there even blood left in the brunette's body? Jungkook could only sob, his jeans soaked in his boyfriend's blood who laid lifelessly on the ground, eyes open and staring blankly at the blue sky.

He felt someone pulling him up and dragging him away but he was still unable to tear his eyes away from his beloved dead boyfriend.

"T-Taehyung", he cried, hands now covering his face to catch the falling tears. Jin brought him to the car where they could hide, shushing him and holding him close. Xiumin had already settled himself against the car, crouching down and flipping furiously through the pages of his mythical creatures book.

The rest was still on the field glaring at the Kiané who had now completely risen out of the black smoke. He was met with a giant wolf, red eyed vampire, silver dragon, wizard and Areum, all ready to fight the creature that killed their friend.

Jungkook closed his eyes as soon as the fight began, the Kiané wasting no time on charging into the group. Hoseok jumped on the Kiané's back, ready to sink his claws and teeth into it but was thrown off as quick as he got on. Yoongi dodged every claw trying to hit him and jumped on the demon's arm, making his way to the beast's head to bash into. While he was doing this Jimin was trying every spell he knew on the Kiané. Fire spread around the demon who just laughed and swatted the flames away. Jimin panicked when the demon got too close and stumbled backwards, only to be grabbed by it. The wizard would've been crushed in his fist if it wasn't for the giant silver dragon sinking its teeth into the Kiane's hand, immediately releasing Jimin back on the ground. Areum dragged him away, glaring at the Kiané and grabbing something from her backpocket.

Yoongi fell on the ground when the Kiané swatted him off and could barely roll away as its foot tried to crush him on the ground. Hoseok growled at the demon and threw Yoongi on his back, dashing away as quickly as possible before the Kiané could grab them both. Namjoon seemed to have the most success with fighting the demon since he was almost as big as the Kiané itself.

"He's still not on his full strength", Areum said through gritted teeth, getting out a ballpoint pen which grew into a sword, "We're doomed but we're fighting anyway".

"This is not his strongest form!?", Jimin shrieked, watching the Kiané stomp to the car where the others were hiding.

"No and we can never defeat him if he doesn't appear", she muttered, anxiously glancing at Taehyung who was still bleeding to death.

Namjoon tried his hardest to fight the Kiané back so he wouldn't near the car but it was useless. The demon swatted his arm, sending Hoseok and Yoongi both flying as they were trying to test out a new tactic. Namjoon spat fire at the Kiané who merely hummed in satisfaction, the flames only warming his body a little like a stove would do for us. The dragon growled, setting his teeth in the Kianeés arm and pulling him back. The demon stumbled backwards, falling on his back and let out an angry scream.

"I think you only made it worse Namjoon", Hoseok grunted in pain, making sure if Yoongi was okay who had tumbled off his back.

The demon got up and swung its arm at Namjoon who hadn't seen the hit coming. Namjoon was sent flying backwards, painfully crashing into a row of trees. Jin gasped and tried rushing to his boyfriend but was frozen as the car where they were hiding behind got lifted and thrown to somewhere. The Kiané seemed to grin as his gaze fell on the small hybrid trembling in the banshee's arms.

Jungkook noticed and threw Jin off him as he foresaw what the Kiané was planning on doing. He was not going to let another person suffer because of him. He had chosen this end by becoming friends with Taehyung and now he was going to face the consequences. The Kiané grabbed him before he could run away and the little human trashed around, feeling the fist getting tighter around him.

The Kiané didn't speak to him, only stared into Jungkook's eyes with a cold expression, fire dancing in his eyes. He suddenly felt his head starting to hurt, needles seemingly wanting to make their way into his brain. Awful images of death, pain, blood, suffering and gore flashed through his mind, overtaking every other sense. The Kiané was showing him everything he ever saw and caused, mentally breaking the hybrid.

Jungkook screamed at the immense pain in his head, wanting nothing more than for it to end. He yelled and screamed, tears streaming down his cheeks and he imagined it could be blood from all the pain his head was experiencing. He tried easing the pain by thinking of other things but the Kiané let nothing other than his memories invade Jungkook's mind.

"Jungkook"

It was only a whisper but he had heard it loud and clear. It sounded like Taehyung. How could that be possible? His boyfriend was dead.

"Focus on me", the voice spoke softly, "Remember me. Think of me and nothing else".

"But it hurts", Jungkook thought to himself, voice completely given up from the screaming. His friends tried everything they could to save him but all were beaten on the ground in pain themselves, pathetically seeing their friend in agony.

"Do it Jungkook! Don't you love me?"

"I do", Jungkook sobbed, "I really do love you but you're dead!"

"Who says that? Look around".

Jungkook opened his eyes, frantically looking around as his gaze had turned blurry through all the tears. He wasn't going to hold on for much longer.

"T-Taehyung", he croaked out," Tae-h-yung".

The Kiané growled in amusement, watching the hybrid pathetically call out for his boyfriend. He wanted to finally crush the boy in his fist when a sudden sound of wings attracted his attention. Had the dragon gotten back up already?

He turned around irritated, ready to swat the dragon away once again but halted the action as he saw something completely else in front of him.

"Missed me?"
