Chapter 14- Dinner And Tears

-Addie's POV-

Kyle, Ty, and I were in the living room playing Xbox with the guys. We were playing Trials now, it was four player, Ty, Kyle, Adam, and I were all VS. each other, and Adam was winning.

"Fuck you bitches!" Adam exclaimed, we all laughed. The doorbell rung, pizza was here.

"I got it," Jerome said going over to answer the door. Adam's character died, so I was in the lead.

"Damn it!" Adam yelled, making everyone laugh. I won the race, Ty was second, Kyle was third, and Adam was last because he died.

"You people suck" Adam joked. Jerome came in with paper plates and two boxes of paper.

"FOODS BIGGUMS!" Jerome screamed handing out the plates and putting the pizza down on the table. We all scarfed down the food quickly, and of course, Mitch and Jerome had a fight over the last piece of pizza.

"Its mine!" Mitch yelled as he pinned Jerome to the floor.

"No Biggums! MINE!" Jerome shouted back as he escaped from Mitch.

"Your both wrong," I said, they both looked at me as I picked up the pizza and ate it, they stared at me. "Its mine."

"Addie!" Mitch and Jerome shouted. I stuck my tongue out at them and ran upstairs, they chased me. I took the corner and hid in the hall closet.

"Where'd she go?!" Mitch shouted, laughing.

"Check her room!" Jerome said pointing at my door as I watched from the crack. As soon as they escaped into the closet, I ran out and ran downstairs. Ty was waiting down at the last step.

"Ty! Catch!" I exclaimed jumping off the remaining stairs. I jumped about seven stairs and into Ty's arms.

"I got you" Ty said, I kissed his nose.

"You need to know your my one and only," I said to him as he put me down. He got a glance at Kyle, then back at me.

"He told you, didn't he?" He asked, I nodded my head yes. "Im sorry, Im just afraid I'll lose you... Like Im going to fuck up."

"Its fine, Ty. Don't worry about it. Just, don't threaten my friends again" I joked, he laughed a bit.

"I wont." He replied. Mitch and Jerome came running downstairs and we started laughing as they came down.

"Damn it Addie! That was the last slice of bacon pizza!" Jerome exclaimed.

"You want it back?" I joked, making everyone laugh, even them.

"Oh shut up," Jerome said between laughs.

"Anyway, Addie... I know what the fourteenth is..." Ty said nudging me. Oh please don't.

"What?" Kyle asked.

"Please don't tell..." I begged.

"Its Addie's sixteenth birthday!" Ty exclaimed, I slapped him on the arm.

"Addie! And you didn't tell us? Im your brother for crying out loud!" Adam whined.

"I just... didn't want it to be a big deal.." I explained rubbing my arm.

"Well, to bad. We're throwing a big party, we'll have all the guys come, we'll invite your friends from school, to!" Adam yelled, I rubbed the back of my neck, I hadn't told him about Natalie or Mia yet.

"What's wrong?" Jason asked.

"Well," I started, "I don't really.. have any at the moment. I told Natalie and Mia I didn't wanna be there friends."

"Oh, Addie. Im sorry," Adam said.

"I-Its fine. Its not your fault. Im lucky to have Kyle as my friend," I replied, Kyle smiled at me.

"Hey, Addie!" Jason called from the kitchen, "I was looking through the fridge, and I found these carrots, are these Ace's?"

"Yah! Im going to go feed him," I answered running to the kitchen. I took the carrots from his hand and went outside. I went to the ranch in the back, Ace was laying down. He was sleeping.

"Ace, I got carrots." I said hopping the fence, he didn't move. "Ace?" I asked. I went over to him and moved him, he didn't move. I put the carrots down and shook him, he still didn't move. I realized what happened.

"ADAM! TY! KYLE!" I screamed. I heard the door open, and I fell to my knees. I heard rustling, and the boys came down to me.

"Addie are you okay?" Adam asked. I whipped my tears away.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Ty asked as he hugged me.

I sniffled then looked at them, but they looked blurry from the tears. "Guys... Ace is dead..."
