Whispers POV.

"I don't hate you."

What Dakota said took me a bit by surprise.

"What do you-?"

"I don't hate you. I know it may seem like I don't want to be around you, but thats just me." He spoke softly.

I smiled a little and pushes some hair behind my ear. "Thanks Dakota." I said. I put the now empty glass on the counter top i was leaning on and stood up straight.

"Well I think I'm going to go back to bed now." I said quietly.

He didn't say anything, so I just whispered a 'good night' and started to count my way to my room. So Dakota wasn't so bad a guy after all...When I got to my room I plumped down on my soft, large bed and for the first time in my life, I thought about what it would be like to see.

Detrians POV.

I walked into the kitchen to see Dakota leaning up against the counter.

"Stay away from her."

He looked unemotional as he always does. "I don't see whats so wrong with me talking to her.

"Just don't talk to her anymore, okay? Go back to being a mute and stay away from her." I warned. All he did was was look at me and walked straight upstairs.

I let out a breath and walked outside. Taking another deep breath and running my hand through my hair. I looked down and let out a low chuckle. What am I going to do about this girl?

"Shes not who she says she is."

I looked up and saw non other then Conner. I grimaced and my face scrunched.

"Well actually...They aren't who they say they are."

"What do you want Conner? And what your you going on about now?" I asked, annoyed that I have to deal with this prick right now. He smirked and sifted his weight on his right leg.

"Now, now...No need to be grouchy. And I came here because I heard about your new little friend."

My eyebrows furrowed together. "How do you know about Whisper?" I asked.

"Ha! Who doesn't know is the question. And let me tell you she was not who I was expecting."

"Who were you expecting then?" I sneered.

This guy was starting to get on my last nerve.

"Well I was expecting-wait...you don't know." His smirk widened.

It sounded more like a statement then a question I raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know what?" I asked, curiosity burning on my tongue.

He closed his eyes and shook his head, that smirk still playing at his thin lips. "Lets not worry about it now." He looked up at the window of Whispers room. "Lets just let the little angel sleep." His smirk widened more (If that was even possible), and he was gone before I could even blink.

What the hell was he talking about? Is Whisper hiding something? I let out a breath and walked back into the house quietly. I guess I'm going to have to ring some stuff out of this human.
