I sat there for what seemed like forever. I moved a little closer to him, then I punch him in the face.
"You disappear for almost a year after our parents die and then feed me this bull-shit that your a vampire?! How dare you! How could you tell me this?! This is not a fucking joke, Felix! I cant believe you would even say anything like that! I fucking hate you!"
I start to sob and slump down onto the bed.
I can feel Felix's hand trying to rub my back, but I shrug it off pissed as hell.
"Whisper, I'm not joking. Please, you have to believe me!"
My sobs calm down and I turn his direction.
"How the hell can I believe you?! I cant see anything for myself!"
Just when I said that, I felt his grip my arm and hold it up to his mouth. I would of said something, but what shocked me was that I felt his canines digging into my skin. They were sharp as hell...
Then I felt them dig into my wrist.
"AAAHHH!! Felix! stop!" HE was biting me! If he wanted to SHOW me he was a vampire, he could have done it another way!
Then I felt his teeth come out of my skin. I snatched my arm back and cradled it to my chest, feeling the teeth holes.
Ok...so is he a vampire?..or just some insane person that decided, 'hey! I think ill get my teeth sharpened and pretend that i'm a vampire!'?
I looked up at him, still shocked about everything that has happened in the last 24 hours.
"okay, say I believe you, Why did you have to come with these guys?...Why couldn't you stay home with me?"
"Because nobody is allowed to know the existence of vampires, not even you. Every one here had to leave there family's and friend because they were changed."
The voice behind me startled me. I turned around in the direction of the voice, I recognized it as the guy who grabbed my face last night.
"But..I wouldn't of told anybody.."
I heard him sigh.
"Its not the fact that we thought you would have told anyone, Its the fact that he will never change. He will stay the same age forever. What would people think? After 15 years of y'all still livening were you did, you being 30 years old, and your older brother being being 18 STILL. I'm sorry, but we couldn't have that happening."
Sorry, huh? He didn't sound very sorry to me...
I leaned my head down, unsure of what to say.
So...my brother is a vampire...vampires exist...Thats why he was gone...
I turned up at the guy.
"So...Whats going to happen to me?..."
It was quiet for a moment before he answered.
"Well, I was going to eat you, but big brother here wont let me, so i guess you'll just stay here with us, cause we cant have you knowing about us and being with humans."
Okay...well its good that they wont eat me...
It was a little awkward in the room, and i'm not sure why... hmm...well maybe its because i'm the only human who just discovered their secret and one of them is my brother...
Yeah, I think thats it.
"Well, cant leave the little human starving now can we? Ill go out and find some food." A new voice came into the room.
That person jumped on the bed and plopped right next to me, pushing a growling Felix out of the way.
"Hey, babe. How about you come with me? You can show me what you like" He whispered into my ear seductively.
my eyes widened a little and i scooted in the opposite direction. What the hell was wrong with this guy?
I heard Felix growl loader and an what sounded like an 'ooph'. Felix probably pushed the guy off the bed.
I giggled a little as I heard Felix yell at the guy.
I felt some one come closer to me.
"Come on, these douche bags are going to be at it awhile."
He took my hand and started to lead me down what I assumed was a hallway.
"I'm Detrian, and the ass hole back there was Brandon. There are a two more guys. Dakota Is nice and all, but hes quiet. He really doesn't like it when people bug him. Then theres Luke. Hes...really aggressive. He can be kinda mean, but only when you get on his nerves. Brandon, Hes very perverted and has no respect for women, but hell be good to you cause your Felix's sister and all."
He continued to lead me down the hallway. Damn, how long is it?
When we finally got to what I assumed was the kitchen, He let go of my hand... I'm not sure why...but I really didn't want him too...
I shook the feeling off and leaned against the counter.
Then I had a question.
"Do vampires eat human food?"
I heard him laugh.
"No, we don't. Remember how I told you that felix will never change?"
I nodded.
"Well thats the way our bodies are. We have a heart, it just doesn't beat. We have lungs, but we dont have to breath. We have a bladder, we just dont pee."
I laughed a little at that one.
"Same with our intestines and all that. We don't eat, because our bodies cant digest food. Thats why we have to drink blood. Because our bodies cant make it. So we have to kill and drink to live. We are the living DEAD. Our bodies don't work because they are...well, exactly that, not living.'
Oh...I understand that. Every time I read twilight or something, I knew some stuff didn't make any since.
I decided to ask.
"So stuff like, Dracula, and Twilight is completely bogus?"
He chuckled and answered with a yes.
"So...what do want to eat? We dont have much..but Dakota got all this food when you were asleep."
I snorted at asleep. More like knocked out.
"Umm..i can make you a sandwich...some cereal... do you like nachos?"
I breathed a laugh and told him that I will just settle for a sandwich.
I wonder what It will be like living here...
