*Sami’s P.O.V*
They all just stared at me. I kept my face calm as I swallowed the fear rising in my throat. Anahi was the first to speak/yell, “How the hell could you do that Sami? Huh? We all thought you were dead! THEN Luis calls and tells us Emily is gone and you grave is burst from the ground!” I let her rant it out, relaxing when she finally calmed down.
“I thought I was dead too,” I spoke truthfully, “When I woke up I realized what I was and what a utter angry fit Luis had so I took Emily to my mom’s. He’s emotionally unstable I couldn’t risk it.”
“But why is Luis dead then,” Tatyana asked, collected oddly enough.
I knew who had Emily but that was yet another secret that would only hurt them, “I don’t know. But I do know that I’m leaving in the morning, you must go to the council and protect yourselves. I’ll meet you there with Emily.”
