Too Deep

Sami's P.O.V

Everyone began a massive argument on how to approach the matter, without drawing even more attention to our pack.

"Just kill them," Diana insisted, "They're three measly no body's."

"We'd expose Unica," Anahi pointed out, "Other vampires will come."

But J.R's idea....

"Maybe they just want to talk," he shrugged, "Can we try that please?"

I snuck out the front door, comfronted by three sets of sharp teeth. Alex grabbed me by my throat and shoved me against the wall.

So much for wanting to talk.

Alex looked down at me with pitying eyes. He had a tall intimidating form like his little brother Micheal and twin brother J.R.

"Where's J.R?", he snarled, demanding obedience. But his compusure was unsteady, drunk perhaps? I tried to speak but his hand wouldn't let me breath much less talk. He saw that and loosend it, not by much.

"Inside", I rasped fearfully. He smirked tossing me clumsily to the ground.

"Micheal and I will distract them while you get Drake", Luna directed, "I want him dead, you hear me? He know too much about our kind to now be on their side."

Fury built in me, no one is taking him from me! A primal sound torn between a snarl and a growl spilled from my lips. Their heads simultaneously snapped to me, apparently I looked quite frightening.

Alex was the first to run away towards the forest followed by Luna and finally Michel.

A wicked smile played on my lips  as I launched after them. In a matter of seconds I changed into a purple and black wolf ready to kill anything in my path. I heard soft thuds of paws behind me but I ignored it and zeroed in on Alex's scent.

As soon as Luna was in my sight she ran a total different direction followed swiftly by Taty who howled in amusement at the chase. Alex and Michel ran swiftly alongside one another trying to escape. The sound of paws grew louder and i saw J.R run up beside me, eyes locked on Micheal. I finally got close enough that I leaped  at Alex locking my jaws on his shoulder blades.

He screamed in pain his knees buckling beneath him. From the corner of my eye I saw J.R snarling down at Michel menacingly. I looked back at Alex curling a claw into his neck.

I only dug it deeper loving the sound of pain spilling from his mouth, the feel of his warm blood on my claws. But he didn't look in pain, his eyes seemed unfocused and giddy a dark green hue.  His eyes were also dilated and looking around frantically. "Help," he croaked out, "She hurts. She hurts."

She?

Alex fell limp beneath my claws. I was about to snap his neck and have it over and done with. But my body was suddenly shoved off of him and into a tree. I snarled fiercely at Daisi who was standing protectively over Alex.

"Mine," she growled.

I paced in the library with Alex and Michel on two tables with their health being carefully monitored. My lips smirked when Dina came to check on Alex accompanied with Daisi for Micheal...for the twentieth time today it seemed. The boys seemed to have a spell in their system, caused by good 'ole Luna.

"I'll tell you if something changes", I pointed out hearing them walk in as I over looked the boys health charts. Daisi and Dina looked flustered and walked back out flaming red.

I laughed once more as I started to take Alex's pulse but stopped midway when I saw him sweating and panting. "Shit", I whispered wetting a cloth in a cold bowl of water I had set aside and putting it gently on his head.

His eyes fluttered open. "Sami?", he croaked. "It's alright Alex just go back to sleep it'll be alright.", I soothed gently. His eyes drifted closed again.

Michel woke up not ten minutes later I repeated the same thing with him. I went to go take a shower having Daisi and Dina watch them. As I walked up the steps I ran into J.R who was red eyed and breathing was choppy.

"Johnny?", I called softly. He looked at me as if he didn't even see me.

"What if he doesn't wake up? What if I failed him as a brother?", he asked. I led him downstairs not wanting him to see his brothers at their weakest. "He is showing good signs, his memory is gaining, and his temperature is okay. He'll be fine."

I walked past the boy who hated me, not feeling a bit of remorse as I heard his cries of pain from the shower.

Michel's P.O.V

"Going to take a shower" 

"We'll watch them" 

"Okay I'll be back" 

"Think they'll be okay?" 

"I'm sure Daisi they have to be" 

"It's been so long since I've seen him..." 

"I know the feeling..." 

"You think the pack is worrying about us?" 

"Just cause we saved them? Nah." 

"Let's hope so God knows we shouldn't feel like this" 

"I second that" 

My eyes dragged open a minute later looking around. I tried to sit up but my body wouldn't let me. "Michel lay down", someone pushed on my chest feeling like fire.

I groaned and fell back. She sucked in a breath "Are you okay?" I nodded faintly. The bluryness went out of my eyes to meet with Dina's pink ones She had gotten pretty from the last time I saw here six years ago now.

She looked up to see what I was staring at when it really was her. I heard a thud and looked to my side to see Alex fall back with Daisi rolling her eyes and saying "I told you so."

I looked at Dina again who's eyes were now a dark black. "What happened?", I asked. She looked down at me. "Luna slipped something in yours and Alex's drinks then she made you both vampires. Then you were about to kill us when Sami chased you all away", her eyes shifted to blue,"You're not vampires anymore..." She trailed off. I felt the K-9s with my tongue. "We're werewolves", I whispered. She nodded trying not to show any emotion and failing.

"Tell me about you all, like what you'll look like, I mean", I said making my body sit up.

Dina's face lite up like a kid on Christmas. "I'm almost a ruby red and black the red wraps around my eyes and along my stomach. Daisi", she said indicating the girl laughing with Alex with a smirk,"has long pink and white fur the white runs along her neck and stomach, Drake is a diff story he's black with purple flames running up his legs it was an amazing sight i'll tell you that." She looked down at me smiling. "What do you think we'll be like."

"Awesome", she muttered to herself but I pretended not to hear her. Then she spoke louder,"Black with blue maybe Alex will be grey for sure maybe with another color." She patted my shoulder,"but you worry about that when you're better." I nodded as I slowly faded from the world again.

Daisi's P.O.V

I saw Alex fall asleep in time to see Sami walk in fresh and clean, but her eyes looked so dead. She checked their vital signs for the final time that night and bid us both a good night.

Alex slept peacefully as I sat in the chair next to his bed. I looked at Dina and her eyes were as pink as mine. "we are in too deep now.", I huffed. She nodded settling in to fall into a deep sleep on the bedside chair with me soon following after.
