What A Reunion

Daisi’s P.O.V

I sat in the back of the room, analyzing everything Sami was saying. I looked down at her old book, full of so much knowledge and gave a cold laugh, re reading an old testament made by werewolf kind

If Vampires are seen as a threat to our existence they will all be taken out without mercy. So is the decree of our queens.

Sami knew that she couldn’t go to the council with us because they’d kill her on the spot. No excuses and no exceptions. It was the way of werewolves.

Tatyana took the younger ones to go get ice cream as the grownups talked about ‘boring stuff.’ And oh did they. The argument between Anahi and Sami got so heated. Sami suddenly stood up and yelled, “He doesn’t have a God damn thing to do with this!”

Anahi shrunk back knowing Sami was the best fighter we had and was a force to be dealt with. That didn’t stop Juan from stepping in front of his poor mate as a shield. His eyes daring Sami to make a move towards Anahi.

Sami’s eyes seemed to glow as she turned and stepped off the balcony window in a swift movement leaving the room in an awkward silence.

Unica’s P.O.V

‘Well that was just peachy,’ I thought sarcastically, Somber looks were exchanged around the room. But all Anahi did was talk about some guy named J.R. I asked Taty who it was, and she visibly paled before explaining the situation.

-Flashback-

J.R stood at the water’s edge confident and handsome. His brown hair brushed his eye brows and his hazel eyes twinkled in mischief. From the wooded area behind him a short girl with straight black hair and apparent contacts stepped out. He looked at her and gave a brilliant smile, making a pink tint appear on her chubby cheeks.

He seemed to start walking towards her but instead brushed right past her to a pathway beyond her. I grew pity for the girl as her face pinched in sadness.

But after a shout of pain the girl took off like a shot to the sound. Luna was drapped over the boys body, her teeth sunken deep into his human neck. His hazel eyes locked with hers, full of fear and pain.

Luna’s head looked up to the girl but only grinned and sped off. I expected the girl to run in the opposite direction. She was only human, literally. But she took off after Luna, her upper lip curling with the first snarl ever to rip from her throat. She quickly caught up to the vampires and took a leap of faith landing on top of Luna as a large midnight black wolf.

Just as quickly as victory was in her hands, it was taken away as something slammed into her side, hard, breaking part of her spine and four ribs. Sami’s eyes weakly looked up to see J.R picking up Luna and speeding off with her. Worry seeping in his love sick gaze.

-Reality-

“J.R was with Luna. He just toyed with Sami for a long time,” Taty explained, “She’s loved him for God knows how long. She never really got over hi, there was never closure. Only more teasing and flirting.”

My mind went to the look of fear on Sami’s face as Anahi mentioned J.R, “Is she scared of him?”

Tatyana nodded glumly, “She wouldn’t hurt a hair on his head to save her own life. He changed her, she used to be so happy and full of life. At first he made her even happier. Then she went stone cold, no on e could get through to her, not  even Luis. She said once life wouldn’t seem to exist without him. I didn’t believe her till we moved out of San Antonio.”

Tatyana looked so guilty, as if it was partly her fault. I told her I was going for a jog and slipped out the window myself, beginning to track Sami’s scent.

I followed her faint trail to a couple miles out of the city to see her arguing with a dude our own age, it was that J.R kid! She turned to me as I stepped to her and shook her head. But before I could react he lunged for me.

Sami’s P.O.V

“No!”, I yelled grabbing his ankles and pulling him away from Unica as she sped away.

“You’re protecting her?” he spat, “The cause of this war?”

I tried to muster anger into my face, but failed miserably. He stood and tilted my chin to him.

But I ripped his hands away, “If you don’t know where she is I’m wasting my time with your worthless ass.”

Atempting to storm away he chuckled darkly, “Worthless? Am I really Sami?”

Before I could react he held up a hand to silence me, “Be at the town cemetery at 5. I’ll have the kid.”

5pm

I stepped into the graveyard and frowned as Emily sat perched on a bird bath, smiling happily. It couldn’t be this easy to have her. A punch to my side confirmed it and I turned my head to see a smirking Luna. My ears picked up Bethany and Lessia stepping from the trees. I leaped behind Luna and sank my claws into her arms like fishing hooks. She kicked backwards, but I continuously dodged them smirking as Bethay charged for me. But I set Luna in her way. Making her sharp fangs puncture Luna instead. I tossed Luna to the side and roundhouse kick Bethany in the jaw sending her into a head stone. Lessia came from behind sinking her fingers into my collarbone, but I reached behind me and grabbed her hair. Flipping her forwards and breaking her spine on the very headstone Bethany laid unconscious on. 

I ran to Emily and swooped her into my arms, running off before they could recover.
