Rita💘: ok ok it all started..
Rita's POV:
-flashback: 11 years ago/Glenridge Middle School,Orlando FL-
I was new in town from New York City & I wasn't used to Florida lifestyle.
It was too laid back & quiet for my liking.
No one cared about their appearance style wise & basically bummed out everyday.
I was used to loud music during 4am,being dressed up daily in fashionable outfits.
I was used to the nightlife & everyday life of New York City.
I always stood out no matter where I was living at.
I came in dressed up in a plaid yellow skirt & matching shirt.
I looked like a Latina version of Cher from Clueless.
I had thigh high white stockings & my long brunette hair flowing down my back.
Every boy in middle school had their eyes on me on the first day.
It didn't help I wore a skirt.
That I would later regret due to the fact of how short it truly was.
No one noticed until I realized how much the boys stared & covered up more.
But back to the first day real quick.
I sat down already uncomfortable with the amount of stares & whistles I've earned from my entry into the room announced by my teacher Mrs. Hill.
I played with my hair unintentionally & a girl taps my shoulder
"Hey stop playing with your hair what do you think you are? You airhead" a rude girl says.
We start fighting & it ends up with the girl and me in the principals office.
When I "accidentally" hit her nose "in self defense" with my foot causing me to break her nose.
I didn't get into too much trouble but instead the girl got into trouble.
I did although during my middle school years I developed a love for boxing.
Here is where me & Tiana meet.
Tiana's father was coach of the boxing team.
Meaning it makes sense his daughter would later join the school.
I went into practice per usual & meet a young girl around my age at the time.
We bonded & she started helping me train for school events.
One day..particularly we vowed to be best friends was when..
I went biking with her one night when we weren't allowed to.
My bike went down the large hill sending me out of my bike & landing on the concrete.
As fate would have it. I broke my ankle.
Even worse I had a boxing match with another middle schooler from a rival school.
Coming to fight me the upcoming week.
Me being hardheaded & stubborn.
Instead of resting I trained rigorously with Tiana hoping I could fight the girl.
The day came & sure enough I knocked her out.
Winning the fight made me feel so good.
so I made Tiana my official personal trainer & coach.
Even though we were both middle schoolers.
She trained me so good & we just bonded so well unlike my friendships with the other students.
It seems life had other plans for us.
My family relocated to Ocala,Florida then to Jacksonville our final stop.
Meaning during my sophomore year of high school I was entered into another high school.
Tiana's family moved to Louisiana & we drifted apart for a year.
Then senior year came around & I invited old friends from Glenridge middle school.
Even inviting my new friends from my high school.
In the process I invited Tiana & we clicked again.
Ever since we haven't stopped being in touch.
