Two Tickets

"Omg! Ayla I can't believe it. I'm still shook."
"I know girl! He is soo hot."
"You saw the picture he posted right."
"Yaaas!"
"Oh umm my mum is calling me downstairs, talk to you later?"
"Yeah sure, bye girl!"
"Bye!"

I headed downstairs and saw my mum in the living room.
"Yeah mum?"
"I need to record you for some sort of family album okay?"
"Okay?"
She started recording me and I was just standing there.
"Okay honey so I've got some news for you."
"Okay." I nod.
"What if I told you that I have two tickets for a concert." she says and I'm just standing there.
"So?" I say waiting for her to give me more info.
"Guess whose concert are the tickets for?"
"Who?" I say still calm and still standing there like a dumbass.
"Ugh honey sometimes I think you turn your brain off. It's for Shawn!"

Just after she said that everything around me froze. I remember falling on my knees and everything is black after that.

"Melissa, dear open your eyes...Melissa...I think we should take her to a hospital." I hear my mom say while I try to open my eyes but I fail because of the strong light.

"Oh she's waking up!" says Ayla. More like yells.

"Ugh what happened?" I say as I slowly sit on my bed.

"You passed out when I told you I have two tickets to Shawn Mendes." my mom says and I just break down again. What's wrong with me?

"Ohh please Mel don't cry. You should be happy. We are going to go meet our Benito!" says Ayla.

"Yeah you're right but I just...can't.....believe it."

It's been like an hour now and I'm fine. Ayla decided to stay for the night. She said she wanted to make sure I was ok. I still can't believe it. It's like a dream come true for me.
I was in my room when my phone started ringing like crazy. I got my phone in my hands and looked at the notifications from every single social media.
I started looking at my insta feed when I realized Ayla posted the video that my mom recorded when she was telling me about the tickets.

I got another notification saying " @shawnmendes started following you."
I couldn't stop myself and started screaming. Ayla ran into my room from the guest room.

"What's wrong?!" she yelled.
"SHAWN FUCKING MENDES STARTED FOLLOWING ME ON INSTAGRAM!"
"WHAT!"
We started screaming and jumping in my room.
And then bam! A dm. Guess from who?
