The One and Only.

The Basement.

We get in and it's surprisingly clean for a basement. Shawn holds my hand the whole time.

"Soo where are we supposed to look?" I ask looking around. When I turn back to face Shawn he attaches his lips with mine and I smile into the kiss.

"What was that for?" I ask after we pull away.
"For you being extremely nice and kind to my family. You are something different Mel and that definitely changed me trough these past months we've been together."

"Well if you keep on complimenting me like that I will die from a heart attack. I love you Shawn. If someone has told me that I would date you or even meet you like five months ago I would probably laugh my ass off to be honest and when I look at where I am right now it feels like a dream." I say and look at our interwined fingers.

Shawn lifts my head up and kisses me. I immediately kiss back and smile in the kiss. I love this goof.

We pull away and I look at him for a moment.
"So we knew each other ha?" I ask teasing him a little.

"Well I can imagine little us teasing each other. I don't get it though I don't remember you." he says and I pout.

"That's actually weird. I mean I had a concussion that's why I don't remember but yours is a whole different level." I say chuckling.

"Well let's go back to the house we'll look for the CD's later." he says and drags me back to the house.

We spend a few more hours and then I grow way too tired so we decided to go see my parents so Shawn can drop me off.

We say our goodbyes to everyone and head to his car. He opens the door for me and I get into the passenger seat of his jeep. He jogs over to his side and gets in. He looks at me and kisses my cheek before turning the engine on.

After an hour and a half long drive we are on my driveway. He stops infront of my house and we both get out. We reach the door hand in hand and I knock on the door three times.

My mom opens the door and squels in excitement while jumping on me.

"My babygirl is back!" she sings and soon my dad and Peter comes into the view.
"There goes my girl. How are you honey?" my dad asks as we hug.
"I'm extremely great now that I saw you." I say smiling.
Peter comes and hugs me. "I missed my twin." he whispers in the crook of my neck.
"I've missed you too." I say chuckling.

After we get inside my dad, Peter and Shawn sits in the living room while my mom and I go straight to the kitchen to prepare something to eat along with tea. Don't ask why.

When I was making the tea my mom turns to me and smiles.
"You know I've missed you so much. That kid in there took care of you right?" my mom says raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah mom he did. We had so much fun goofing around." I say smiling at the memories.
"Did you do anything?" my mom asks smirking.
I immediately blush like crazy. Glad I didn't put makeup on.
"Mom! That's not funny! And y-yes." I say whispering the last part.
"OMG! My girl grew up! Finally!" my mom basically screams and I shake my head as I smile. We get everything we prepared and head to the living room.
I set the tray which has our tea's on on the table and sit next to Shawn.
"What was all that yelling?" he whispers to my ear.
"I'll tell you later." I whisper back.

After we finished our tea's and did a little catching up with each other Shawn decided to head back home. It was late so I asked him if he wanted to stay over but he said it's better for him to go back home so I didn't insist on it. He must have missed his family.

I wave at him for the last time and blow a kiss after he went in his car. He waved back and started the engine of his car and backed out the driveway.

We all get in the house and I told everyone I'll be in my room and headed upstairs. I get into my room and take all the dirty clothes out of my luggage. Once I'm done I get into the shower and start cleaning up.

While the hot water hits my back gently my muscles relax and all of a sudden they're not aching anymore. I get out, brush my teeth, put my pj's on and go back to my bathroom to dry my hair.

After I'm done it's almost midnight so I decide to go to bed. Before I get into bed there's a knock on my door and it opens to reveal my mom.

"Hey." I say with a small smile.
"Hi hun. Are you ok?" she asks while sitting on my bed with me.
"Yeah I'm fine. It's just I'm tired that's all."
"Are you sure? It doesn't look like that." she says.

She knows me way too well. I sigh and sit up straight.

"You know how dad and Peter came back to house. It's weird to have them around. I'm 18 now mom and you know what my dreams are. I wanna gradu-"

"Graduate and move out to live by yourself I know honey. We are your family and no matter what you do we will support you." she cuts me off.

"Mom we've been trough some really shitty stuff together and you were always there for me. Thank you for being both my mom and my dad. Even my best friend. The reason I feel so confident about myself around you and everyone is because you tought me how to. I love you mama." I say and I can see the tears forming in her eyes.

"You're gonna make mama cry." she says and we both laugh.

"Now tell me something. How was it? How was your first time?" she asks me genuenly.

"Mom that is really weird to talk about especially with you....but it was magical." I admit.

"You know that boy, is a special one. Don't let him go honey. I can see your future and he is definitely a part of it." she says smiling, making me smile.

"I know mom. I've never tought I will be with him. You know how paranoid I was about just seeing him." I say chuckling. "Now I'm with him and in love." I say as a smile forms on my mom's lips.

"Go to sleep honey. It was a tiring day." she says turning the lights off and getting out of my room saying good night.

I should've told my mom about Shawn's parents. Ughh it's so far away I'll tell it tomorrow. Yeah in the morning.
