•Kim Seok-jin was born on 4th December 1992 in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi province, South Korea.
•Jin has an older brother named himself, Kim Seok Jung. His father is a very recognized CEO.
•He was recruited by a casting agent from Bighit Entertainment on the street when he was going to university.
•The 13th June 2013, he officially began his career as singer and visual artist of the group Bangtan Boys, more commonly called BTS. He is the vocalist (sub) of the group.
•Jin is the oldest hyung (what koreans call their senior older males) of the group, he is often compared to the group's mother or "eomma" as he cooks, nurtures and cares for other members as a mother would.
•The 22nd February 2017, he graduated from the University of Konkuk in Seoul.
•On December 19th, 2016 the second OST of the series Hwarang: The Beginning was released where he sang. It is interpreted by V (which also plays a secondary role) and Jin. It is titled 죽어도 너야 (Even If I Die, It's You).
