• Hoseok is popularly called "Hobi" or "J-Hope" onstage. He is the third oldest member of BTS.
•He is the rapper, main dancer, song writer and performer of BTS.

• J-Hope officially started as a member of the BTS on June 13, 2013 with the title No More Dream .
•In 2010, he was spotted by Big Hit Entertainment during major national castings, after making his name in South Korea by taking over songs and choreographies posted on the Internet. He signed a few months later his first contract for pre-debuts alongside the other selected members, who will be replaced or transferred during these pre-debuts. He was in artistic training for three years with members Jungkook and Jimin and was also the first trainee of the Bangtan Boys, with his co-star Rap Monster.
• He is called "sunshine" as his smile can lit up the entire room if he enters. He is almost always brimming with energy and happiness which is so contagious that it can not only make others smile, but also make Suga laugh. So, yeah, its a huge deal.
