/Bryce's Point of view/

I woke up to a massive headache. I felt my body go numb. I felt cold and lifeless. My fingers, as if they've been shoved into ice for fifty years, is motionless. My vision blurs for a while.

Liquid.

I felt liquid around my head. My hair feels drenched. I felt so weak.

Nonetheless...

I forced myself up.

A stinging sensation attacks on my whole body and I gasped as air suddenly filled my lungs. I leaned against the wall to support my body and rest my head.

As my vision adjusts, I was met with a bloody floor. My eyes went wide as I slowly brought a hand up to my stinging head.

I felt my finger dip into something.

I slowly brought my hand down to look at it.

Blood.

I stared at it, shock decreasing and fear rising.

_____________

I have managed to bandaged my head. So far, it isn't a big deal at all for I have been learning things at the hospital where mum was working at as I watch her treat the patients.

I light the fireplace up in the living room and grabbed the old rag at the storage room.

With a slight headache and a stinging sensation lingering, I went back to the puddle of blood in front of the stairs.

I bend down and started wiping the liquid, somewhat feeling emotionless.

It's like I expected this to happen.

I managed to wipe the blood on the floor and the stairs clean. The only thing left to do is to mop it so that it won't leave any smell behind.

I dip the mop in the liquid soap and squeeze some soap out of it. I mopped the floor and the stairs(I know, weird).

After cleaning, I returned the supplies back to its original place- the hygienic room. Don't ask me why do we have a room full of cleaning stuff, it was mum's idea.

I closed the door behind me and boiled the water in the kitchen.

I heard a knock on the front door and I went up to the window. I took a peek behind the curtains and saw a particular person drenched in rain. I didn't even know it was raining outside. Hell. It wasn't just any rain. It was raining cats and dogs outside and oh my velvet is he going to get sick out there.

I sprinted towards the door and swung the door open, sending a worried glare(I glare when people worry me). Though the glare was replaced with a shocked expression as my twin's legs gave out and he fell right to me. Good thing I-- We didn't hit the floor.

"Oh my goodness! Evan, crap, it's going to be okay!" I felt my mind was about to explode as I began to panic and worry a lot. I looked at the gates and spot that something was missing. Where's the vehicle?

My eyes went really wide when I realized that Evan walked home while their was a hail out. Because if the guys had dropped him home, he wouldn't be so weak and shakey. I furrowed my brows in confusion, Aren't they supposed to drop him home? What happened?

I quickly pulled my brother up so that he can lean against the wall, which he did. I slammed the door shut and grabbed a long towel on a chest behind the couch. I rushed towards him and wrapped the enormous towel around him and put his arm around my neck, not minding that some of the water clinging on him dissolves into my shirt. I helped him to the couch and lit the fire a lot more. I grabbed a Kleenex tissue and wiped his face. Though it seems water won't stop marching down to his chin. By water, I mean tears.

I was concerned over my twin's health. It didn't matter what had happened to him anymore- all that matters is that he doesn't catch a cold and is stable.

I sat beside my twin and watched him let out a choked sob. I felt deeply affected despite not knowing the cause of the tears. I then instinctively hugged him, rubbing his back and whispering soothing words.

"I-It hu-hurts... It.. It hurts a.. a lot.. I fe.. feel as.. th..though I fai.. failed to ac..accomplish some.. something.."

Evan whispers into my shoulder. I hushed my twin and started to hum a lullaby.

"H..He ha..hates m-me.."
