Chapter 9:
Jake's POV

"Julia. Come on. Snap out of it." Caleb said to Julia. We are currently heading to the hospital. Julia is still shocked. She isn't speaking to anyone and her eyes and face don't show any emotion at all. "We're here." I said pulling into a parking space.

We got out and I opened Julia's door and helped her out. When I grabbed her hand, she snatched it out of my grasp immediately. Her sister is in the hospital, and she's in shock, but she still can't forget what happened? Wow. Caleb and Chris came over, and each of them grabbed one of her arms.

We walked in and, headed to the desk. There stood a lady, named Delilah. When she saw us coming, she quickly popped her chest up and pulled her shirt down a bit. Then she leaned on the counter. "What can I do for ya cuties?" she asked.

"We're looking for Caroline Roberts room." Caleb said dryly. "She's in operation, in station 3" she said. "And here's my number." She slid a paper towards them and they just walked away. We headed to station 3. And sat outside waiting. Two hours later Julia's and my parents came, and a doctor came out. "Who's the family of Caroline Roberts?" he asked. Julia and Mr and mrs. Roberts stood up. "We are." Mrs. Roberts said.

"I'm sorry but..." the doctor started. Me and mrs. Roberts started to tear up, and Julia was still a shell. "She's dead." Every one broke and started to cry. Then we heard someone scream. "NO!" I looked at Julia. She was grabbing a handful of her hair, in both hands, with wide eyes. "NO...NO! NO! NO! IT CANT BE! NO!" Tears started to leak out her eyes. I came over to her and hugged her. "Julia. Julia calm down!" I said. "NO! NO! NO!" she yelled.

"Julia! Calm down!" I said. Then I felt her body go motionless in my arms. "Julia?" Everybody looked at Julia. Her eyes were closed, but she wasn't breathing. "JULIA!" Everyone crowded around me and her. "Julia." Was all that I heard. Everyone was trying to get her to open her eyes. "Julia. Come on! Don't do this to us!" Caleb yelled. Everyone was crying by now. Julia come on! Don't do this.

We were waiting outside Julia's room, when a doctor came out. "Dr. Is she okay?" Caleb asked. The doctor frowned. "She has something called psychogenic or dissociative amnesia, stems from emotional shock or trauma. In this disorder, a person may lose personal memories and autobiographical information, usually only briefly." "So you mean...she won't remember us?" Chris asked sadly. "Only for a brief amount of time." The doctor replied.

"How long will she asleep?" I asked. "For a few days, or maybe even a week, or more. We don't know." The doctor replied. "I need the parents to come with me to sign some papers and then you will be allowed to leave." Julia's parents got up and followed the doctor. "Honey. You and the boys can go inside to see Julia. We will be at the cafeteria." My mom said. We nodded and headed to Julia's room.

I walked in and saw Julia. Just laying there. There were wires stuck to he hand and some kind of monitor. All we heard was the beeping noise of her heart. Caleb sat down at the chair next to her and held her hand. Chris grabbed the other hand and sat down. I looked at Caleb and saw a tear drop from his eye.

I was so worried about Julia, that I didn't notice the tears that were falling nonstop, down my face. "Julia. Please wake up." Caleb said.

~6 months later~

Julia's been asleep for six months now. Caleb, Chris, and I refused to leave Julia's room ever since she fainted. Me and Caleb were sitting on the couch, looking at Julia, who hasn't moved for one bit. Chris was at her side holding her hand, when all of a sudden his head shot up.

"What? What is it?" Caleb asked. "I think Julia just twitched." Chris replied. No way. "There it is again! Doctor!" I took out my phone and called Julia's and my parents at the same time. "Hello?" two manly voices answered. "Julia's awake!" I said. Then I heard two ear piercing screams and then the phone call ended.
