(AN: I've been asked to put a trigger warning: please do not read if you're sensitive to death! I put one in the description of the book but it's been missed a lot! Be safe guys 💕)
Fifty years passed. The chosen four and Keith made a large dent in the Empire, but it still stayed strong. Keith had the pleasure of slicing Zarkon's head off, but his son stepped right up to power.
Prince, now Emperor Lotor, was not as angry about his father's death as they expected. He thanked the paladins, but continued to try to steal Voltron from them. It was a rough start, but the Paladins were able to work together. Allura and Coran's ages eventually caught up to them, as well as some of the other paladins. After a few years, all the "newer" paladins had to retire, their bodies littered with scars and wounds that would never fade.
Keith felt discouraged. He had been fighting the Galra for nearly 100 years, but they still reined. He went out on a resupply mission with the black lion, only coming back to find the castle in crumbles and his paladins and friends slaughtered. All the Lions had been taken, save Black. Enraged, Keith had flown to the main Galra ship, giving up the Black Lion.
When he met Lotor, he bowed, asking the Prince to end his life. Puzzled, Lotor asked why, and was answered with, "I don't want to live any longer. Put an end to the last of the Voltron Paladins."
Lotor happily complied, taking Keith to the arena and broadcasted his execution to the entire universe. Keith was tied to a large pole, wood placed at his feet. Galran guards set fire to the wood, and he was burned alive.
Aliens and creatures all over the universe heard his screams and cries of pain, the memory imprinted on their brains as the fall of Voltron, and the eternal rule of the Galra Empire.
AN: Sorry guys ahh I didn't know how I should've ended this. The idea disappeared after a while haha
