Silver sat in on the ledge of the entrance to Jade Mountain. Wind buffed at her wings and she folded them in tighter. Wolf, Sawn, Blueseer, and Diamondback were beside her. They had gathered here as soon as they woke up because of a vision Blueseer had.

The morning sun reflected off her silver scales and she leaned forward to see Diamondback's head shoot up. He raised his tail and bared his teeth. There was a deadly glint in his eyes. She leaned forward as far as she could, and saw what looked like a small spark fly into view, and heard wing beats, shrieks, and battle cries.

Blueseer leaped into the sky and turned around to his friends."Come on, we have to try to-"

He was cut off by a roar and a blast of fire. He dodged it as it crackled by his wings. He quickly landed back on the ledge and ran inside, his eyes wide with fear.

Silver looked over her shoulder as his tail disappeared."What should we-"

She was cut off by a blast of fire and she quickly leaned backwards to miss it. Heat blazed her scales and sparks landed on her scales. Pain seared through her as cold met fire and steam arouse from her scales.

Diamondback and Wolf ran around to look at her."Are you okay?"Both of them asked.

She took in a shaky breath and lifted her talon to the burned scales."I-I think so."

They both sighed and her friends lead her inside. They walked through the halls and to the room they had picked out. It was bigger than the other rooms, so they were able to fit everything in it.

It had the sand pit like Sawn's old room had, a stone ledge covered in moss, a hammock, and two beds made of pale blue and white blankets and ice surrounding it. Nestled in the corner was an ice cold pool big enough for a full grown dragonet to fit in. On one wall was strange scorch marks, and a case of scrolls. By her pile of blankets was her chest that she had summoned using magic, again.

Blueseer was lying on his back on the stone ledge covered in moss. A worried depression was on his face, and penetrated deep into his dark blue eyes.

Wolf lead her to the ice cold pool and splashed her chest and throat with the cold water. Silver relaxed as the ice cold water washed over her scales and healed the burns. She watched as Wolf worked. There was something about him, like he was something more. She shook this idea off and turned her head to look at Blueseer.

"What worried you so much?"She asked, wincing as one of Wolf's talons brushed the burns.

Blueseer looked over at her, then looked away."I can't tell you. When that SkyWing blasted me, I saw-I saw-"he stopped talking, turning away from his friends.

Silver turned away from Wolf, and turned towards her friends. She spread her wings and folded them back up."There are dragons dying outside these walls."She gestured to the surrounding walls."We need to stop them, we need to make them see that what they are doing is wrong."

Blueseer jerked up."No! Please, no!"He yelled, leaping off the ledge and landing at her talons."Please no! You are only five! You have so much more life left!"

Swan stepped forward."Silver is right, we need to stop this battle. Right now."She swept out of the room, her red-gold scales and bright scales disappearing from sight.

Silver followed her, with Wolf right behind. Diamondback and Blueseer were the only ones who stayed."Please, don't do this,"Blueseer pleaded.

She sighed and continued out of the torch light. They walked down the halls and stopped where the light couldn't reach into the caves anymore.

Wolf looked behind them."Maybe we shouldn't have gone-"

"No, this is the right thing to do! No second guessing!"Swan yelled, racing out of the cave and launching into the sky.
