I finished my homework and put it in my bag. I grabbed my sleepover bag and my phone chargers along with my phone.

I walked out the door and headed over to Aaliyah's. Her and Becca have a dance to go to tomorrow and they asked me to stay over and then do their make up.

I knocked on the door. Aaliyah opened it.

"Madi! Hello! Becca won't be here until tomorrow so it's just you and me!" She said

"Okay." I walked in and we went to her room.

I set my stuff down and plugged my charger. I set my stuff on the blow up mattress she had set out.

"So. How are you and Jonas?" She asked

"Good. I see him in exactly two months."

"Wow. Is it hard?"

"Long distance."

"Well not really. We text and FaceTime a lot. It sucks going back behind a screen after we met for the first time."

"What if you guys break up?" She asked

Mrs. Mendes walked in "pizzas here!"

We both got up to get pizza. After that we watched tv and just talked about random things. We started to get tired so we went back to Aaliyah's room. Where we fell asleep.

I got up and rubbed my eyes. "Oh right."

"I'm excited for tonight! I'm going to go brush my teeth." Aaliyah said

"I need to do that too." I got up and grabbed my toothbrush.

We both walked into the bathroom and I waited for Aaliyah to finish brushing her teeth. Then I brushed mine.

"Your teeth are so straight! And you've never had braces!" Aaliyah said

The door rang.

"Becca is here!" Aaliyah ran to the door.

We all waited around until 1 pm then I started to get them ready. I did Aaliyah's make up first. Then I curled her hair.

"Done!" I said

"Yay! Imma go and put on my dress!" She said

"Okay Becca! How do you want me to do your makeup?" I asked

I recreated the look. I started curling her hair.

"You know. You and Shawn looked so cute kissing." She said

She turned around and I started curling her hair again. I held back my tears.

Once I finished Aaliyah came out wearing a white sparkly party dress.
