"alright guys! i'm getting off instagram! but i'll be live on younow later today! stay beautiful bye guys!" i said and clicked end live

"jonas!" tanner said

"what?" i asked

"lemme use your laptop for younow!"

"fine go ahead"

tanner went over to my laptop and went live.

"aye lit" dylan said

"what's up guys! what's up bubblybridges! what's allycat! what's up madi!" tanner said reading the comments

hearing her name gave me goosebumps. we haven't talked since playlist. which was 2 weeks ago.

my phone buzzed and i got a text from an unknown number.

unknown: hey is this jonas?
jonas: yes? who is this.
unknown: it's shawn mendes. we need to talk. can i call you?
jonas: sure.

"okay i'm gonna guest someone" tanner said

my phone started ringing and i answered it

"hello?" i said

"hey it's shawn."

"hi! i'm a huge fan." i said

"thanks"

"how did you get my number" i asked

"from madi."

"oh well what's up?"

"um i just wanted to tell you something. i'm the one who kissed madi. she didn't kiss me. it just was the heat of the moment im really sorry. but madi is so devastated. i've been trying to help her get through this but she is shutting everyone out. even her own bestfriend. and also. she's been cutting herself because she feels like she's worthless and unimportant. can you please talk to her? she misses you a lot. i can't bare to see her like this. i'm truly sorry for what i did." shawn explained

"wait. she's been cutting?" my voice started breaking and tears started rolling down my eyes.

tanner looked at me and said "are you okay?"

"yeah can you try to tak her out of it?" he asked

"yeah. i'll try to thank you." i said

he hung up and i looked at tanner with tears in my eyes.

"uh hang on guys give me a second" he muted the broadcast

"she cuts now. she's a mess without me tanner. shawn is the one who kissed her. she tried to tell me that but i thought that the whole time it was just a lie. she was telling the truth. this is all my fault tanner. i broke her." i said crying

"no jonas. you didn't know. it's okay. but you can fix her. you can go down to houston and help her." tanner said

"what if she doesn't want to see me?"

"trust me. she misses you like crazy." tanner said

i got a notification on twitter. i went to check it. it was from shawn.

i ran downstairs to tell my parents. "mom dad i'm leaving to go to texas."

"why?" my mom asked

"i thought you broke up with her" my dad said

"well this is urgent and she needs me."

i ran back upstairs and grabbed my stuff. "okay i'm leaving i'll be back next week" i said

"do you want your laptop?" tanner asked

"no but when you get off shut it down and close my door." i said

i laughed "later dude" in a fake suburban accent

"wait do you have anything to say to the broadcast before you leave?" tanner asked

i got up and left my room. i started my car and drove to the gas station so i could get some gas. i pumped the gas into the car. after that it was a long drive to texas.
