Chapter Two

On Monday there was no sign of these alleged new siblings joining Sidebourne school however I had overheard others conversations questioning what the new kids will be like.

At lunch Louisa sat with Calum, Ashton, Michael and I and after about 10 minutes Lucy joined us,

"Ugh i literally can describe how much I hate that teacher" she seethed as she sad next to Michael, they weren't dating but It was obvious to everyone they had a soft spot for eachother.

"Why?" Michael laughed slightly taking a sip of his drink,

"Because" Lucy started tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear, "that flipping French teacher have me lunch detention because I walked down the B2 corridor" she finished looking even angrier than before, it did seem a little harsh that she should be punished for simply walking through the school.

I shrugged, "well he sounds like an idiot" I said sighing.

"Yeah he sounds like a douche" Michael soothed pulling her in for a hug which she gladly accepted, Louisa leaned in to me and whispered, "are they a thing or something" gesturing slightly to Michael and Lucy, I laughed a little before replying,

"Oh no, everyone knows they fancy each other they're just both to awkward to make it a thing" I explained before taking the last bite of my sandwich.

I glanced at the clock which read 1:50 pm, we only had 20 minutes of lunch left, as I turned around back to the table I noticed Calum had managed to get ketchup on his blazer.

"Cal you're so messy" I moaned as I grabbed a napkin and wiped the red condiment away,

"hey ! It's not my fault!" Calum defended, "it obviously fell of one of my chips!" He fake pouted and crossed his arms,

"Hmmm but if you had been more careful I reckon you wouldn't have gotten it on you" teased poking his cheek, he stopped pouting and giggled,

"You're so girly" I said as I pulled out my phone, this made Louisa laugh and I could tell if it was possible that she would have heart eyes right now.

I checked my phone for any texts and after seeing there were 2, one from my mum and one from my brother I decided I could reply later as I was to lazy to do it now. I slipped my phone back into the top pocket of my blazer and looked up glancing at the door for no apparent reason when 2 people I didn't recognise walked in, the boy was tall, at least 6ft and the girl a lot smaller but very distinct with her red and black hair, I noticed the boy had a lip piecing which he chewed on as he scanned the room.

I assumed they were the new people so I quickly stood up pulling Ash up with me,

"Look! Over by the door" I whispered Not wanting to cause any attention, I didn't want anyone else to notice the very cute boy who'd just walked in,

"I think they're the new people" I continued in excitement, Ash looked at the door before bringing his gaze back to here,

"Yes I think it is lets go ask if they wanna sit with us" he spoke eagerly, he was about to charge off but I pulled him back,

"You can't just waltz over there and try and make friends you have to be smooth" I said setting off to the two people who were still stood by the door.

About 30 seconds later we were stood in front of them, the girl looked alarmed and hid behind the taller boy, he held his arms behind him as if to protect her,

"Hi" Ash smiled sheepishly with a small wave,

"Uh hi" the boy replied,

"Um we couldn't help notice that I you couldn't see a place to sit, so uhm if you want you guys could uh sit with us" I said awkwardly, "I'm Katherine by the way"I said, "but you can call me Kat" I added on smiling,
