I opened my eyes to find myself surrounded by the four famous boys I'd approached earlier, but we were no longer in the Sydney that I remembered. Sure, it was definitely Sydney in Australia, but there was something about it that was different. All eight pairs of eyes were on me, as if they were waiting for me to say something.
"What happened?" I asked, making eye contact with the blonde boy whose shoulder I had touched before I blacked out. I tried to stand up, but felt the blood rush to what was now a tender spot on the back of my head, so I returned to the ground. There were a few people crowded around us, but once they saw I was okay they started to disappear.
The boy looked at his band mates, and when they deadpanned him he shrugged. "Why don't you tell us, uh…?"
"Pascale, but you can call me Paz," I finished his sentence for him, assuming it was my name that he wanted.
"Right, well, Pascale, why don't you tell us what the hell is going on." I switched my gaze between him and a boy with shaggy brown hair, and when neither of them said anything I shot all of them a quizzical glare.
"And what makes you think I have any goddam clue about what has happened?" I'd officially snapped. What made these arrogant popstars think that I had any more of an idea about this situation than they did? Just the nerve of them made my blood boil.
The third boy, one with black hair and a beanie, stepped forward. "Well, everything was kind of normal for us until you showed up."
"Look, Mr. Whatever-Your-Name-Is, everything was normal for me too until my best friend convinces me to help her stalk you guys so I could just as easily blame you four!"
The four boys glanced between each other again. It's like they could read each others' minds, or they are just really good at reading expressions. However there wasn't much expression on their faces, just a whole lot of blankness to be honest. "Hello? I'm still here, you know. Ignoring me won't solve anything." I clicked my fingers, trying to get their attention.
The first boy, Blondie, spoke to me again, this time with a look of astonishment. "You mean you don't know who we are?" I rolled my eyes. And I thought Carson Matthews was arrogant. The only thing that made me hold my tongue was that his tone of voice didn’t sound all that arrogant.
"I know that collectively you are 5 Seconds of Summer, I just don't know your individual names," I shrugged. Not my fault I wasn't die-hard obsessed with them. Plus I'm not that great with names.
Blondie nodded at the fourth boy with died black and red hair who was standing the furthest away. "That's Michael, or Mikey for short." Next he gestured towards Shaggy and Beanie Boy, who he revealed to be Ashton and Calum, before finally pointing to himself, "And I'm Luke."
"Right, well, to me you're Blondie, Calum is Beanie Boy, Ashton is Shaggy and Mikey, well, he can stay Mikey because I can't think of a good enough nickname," I stated.
"You've got a fair attitude there, don't you princess?" Shaggy sniggered. One of my deadly stares was enough to shut him up however. He put his hands up in defensive and backed away slowly. The remaining three boys burst into hysterics and began teasing him.
Whilst the four childish maniacs that I'd ended up with fooled around, I pulled out my phone. No reception. I restarted the device. Still no reception. "Oi do any of you buffoons have service?" I shouted.
Blondie, Shaggy and Mikey pulled their phones out in syncs and almost stared at them in disbelief. Beanie Boy took a bit longer to find his, but once he did, his face showed a similar look of scepticism. They all shook their heads in answer to my question.
