Quashara's POV

"I hope the rain doesn't get too hard." I said a little worried.

Jahi looked at me with a face that was like "It's okay." And I returned it with an "Okay, but I'm still worried" face.

"Guys!" Mrs.Winston said, climbing up the stairs. "I have to talk to y'all."

Michael and Emily came out of Jahi's room.

"You guys are gonna have to stay here overnight. Your mom is working out late."

Later than she is already working? Why does she always have to work extra late?

"Okay." Me and my siblings all said in unison.

Mrs.Winston went back downstairs and my siblings went back into Jahi's room.

*7 hours later..*

It's 1am and Jahi and I have been talking, NON-STOP. Well, Jahi has been doing most the talking. I'm just sleepy asf.

My siblings are in the guest room sleeping, but they're are only two beds. So Jahi is sleeping on an airbed in his room and I'm sleeping on his bed.

I felt bad for him so I'm staying awake till he gets sleepy. Such a baby.🙄

"Are you sleepy yettt?" I said, dragging the 't'.

"No... I told you, you can just go to sleep! It doesn't even matter if I'm not comfortable."

" *sucks teeth* You know what?" I said scooting over. "Just get over here."

He hopped out of the air bed and climbed in bed next to me.

"Goodnight." "Goodnight" I said in return.

Jahi's POV

I woke up too feel Quashara's head tucked into my chest.

I got this weird vibe from her that was comforting, and warm. I stared at my ceiling for a few minutes, then decided to just get up.

I tried to leave, but she just kept tightening her grip, then when I relaxed, she went back to normal.

"Quashara.." I said in a low voice.

"Yes?" "Let me gooo"

Her eyes opened and she immediately blushed.

Quashara's POV

I was so comfortable, till Jahi had to wake me up. 🙄

I realized where I was lying down, and jumped off the bed.

He has a girlfriend, he has a girlfriend, he has a girlfriend,

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing."

I started playing with my fingers, cause isn't that considered cheating? And I don't want any drama...
