I turned the volume up on my phone, Aberdeen by Cage The Elephant blared through my headphones, the beginning of the song always gave me a headache if I played it too loud, but I didn't care.
I walked through the doors of school, I already knew I'd be getting looks from the "Preps" here because they didn't like my outfit. But I didn't care about that either.
I walked to my locker, wearing my tail- skirt and a navy blue crop top. My sandals I liked best. I put my books in my bag and turned to see an oddly tall body standing in front of me, it was only odd because the body was familiar but then again, unrecognized.
I looked up to see him talking mute words at me, I pulled my headphones out.
"What?" I wanted him to repeat,
"You're music, it's pretty loud. Haha," he smiled a straight smile at me. I smiled back,
"I like it loud,"
"Yeah," his voice trailed off,
"Uh, yeah.." I turned away, feeling his hand on my shoulder.
"I actually didn't want to talk about the music.. I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out, like out of school." He mumbled,
"Are you asking me out?"
He smirked, "Only if you want me to." I smiled at his slyness then nodded,
Sure, why not. Take me out on the town,
I let him write his number on my hand, his handwriting actually was pretty nice for him to be a guy.
Cameron.
