I sigh in content as I check in the mirror in front of me to see that there's no lint or fuzz balls on my tux.
From the corner of my eye I spot my mom standing at the door. "Wow, you clean up nicely." She chuckles. "We'll be back by 11." I say. "10." "10:30?" "Alright but not a minute later." "Bye mom, love you." I say while hugging her. "Have fun!" She yells as I rush out the door.
I take a deep breath and knock on Hyungwon's door. His mom opens. "Oh, hey. Come on in." She says in sort of a surprise. "Are you two going to pick up your dates together?" I nod my head and wait for Hyungwon in silence.
He finally walks down the stairs after about 10 minutes. I stared at him in astonishment. He looks up at me and smiles then turns to his mom. "I'm gonna sleep over Hoseok's house tonight. Goodnight." "Ok, have fun you two and tell your girlfriends I said hello!" She says while we walk out.
"When are you gonna tell your parents about us?" I ask while we walk to my car. "When the time's right." "It's been two years." "It's not my fault, they're Christian." "And how did you keep Minhyuk a secret for so long?" "The same way: 'we're just friends.' You look nice by the way."
"You too. Oh! I almost forgot." I took out a white rose from the pocket inside my jacket that came with a pin and pinned it to his lapel. "Pretty." He took out a peachy colored rose and did the same. We got into my car and drove off to the school.
We weren't into the whole dinner and pictures thing. We thought it was stupid and cheesy. So we decided to just go straight to the dance and skip all the awkward small talk and lame pictures.
We got out of my car and walked up to the doors. I was about to open it when someone grabbed my wrist to get my attention. Unfortunately, it was Lee Jinwoo and his posse of two. "Well, well, well." "What do you want, Jinwoo?" I ask in annoyance. "I just wanted to wish the two lovebirds a happy evening."
"What kind of species of bird are they?" One of his friends stupidly questioned. "It's a new one called Faggot." Jinwoo responds. "Two little Fag-gots sittin' in a tree." He began to sing while slowing walking around us. "F-u-c-k-i-n-g." He whispered in my ear but loud enough for Hyungwon to hear.
He was testing me. He knew I'd get more mad than Hyungwon. And he was right. I was furious. I was ready to attack him.
"Let's go, Hoseok." Hyungwon quietly says. "You should listen to your boyfriend, Hoseok. Wouldn't want to start something you can't finish." I grabbed him by the collar and held him against the door. Then I hear the click of a switch blade behind me.
"Stop it, Hoseok! He's not worth it." Hyungwon firmly says while trying to pry my hands off of Jinwoo. "Listen to your faggot ass boyfriend, Hoseok." I brought his face as close as possible to mine. "You're lucky your little posse is here to rescue you cause if they weren't, you'd be fucking dead by now." I shoved him into the door, making his head roughly hit it, and walk in with Hyungwon in front of me.
"You need to stop letting people get to you so easily. We'll run into homophobes all the time for the rest of our lives and there's nothing you can do that'll change their mind about us. Just ignore them." "Did you just imply that we'll be together for the rest of our lives?" I asked, ignoring everything else he had just said. "Ew why would I want to spend the rest of my life with you?" "Because you love me." I say, kissing his cheek afterwards.
Prom was less of a thrill than we expected. And we hadn't expected much. Everyone was either grinding on each other on the dance floor, eating all the chips at the snack table or sitting on the benches with their phones in their hands.
We had stayed by the drinks most of the time, barely able to understand what the other was trying to say over the loud music neither of us listened to.
It was a quarter til 10 when we decided to just go back home.
"Back so soon?" My mom asked from the living room. "Yeah, we were getting pretty tired." I said as we headed upstairs. "Night mom!" I yelled before closing my bedroom door.
I plopped down on my bed and began lazily undressing myself. "Need help?" I look over and see Hyungwon was already in his pjs. Well more specifically my pjs. "Mhm." I hummed. He began taking my clothes off one by one.
"You know, a lot of people are having sex tonight. Cause prom is 'so special' and all." He states while unbuckling my belt. "And?" "And so.... maybe..." "You wanna do it?" He nods his head rather quickly.
So there we are. Sitting on my bed, trying to figure out what to do to get things going. "Who" He clears his throat. "Who's topping?" "Me, of course." "Why you?" "Well for one: I'm older. Two: I asked you out. And three: I protect you from danger."
"What are you talking about?" He scoffs. "You're like a big, emotional teddy bear. If anything, I should top cause I have initiated almost everything. You wouldn't have even asked me out if I had never kissed you that one night. Hell I even asked you to prom. I think I should top."
We were bickering for so long that it was already 11:30. We had finally decided to just 'go with the flow' and see who seems more fit to be top.
"So... how do we start this?" "I don't know. Don't most people start with kissing?" I ask. He looks at my lips, then to my eyes, and back to my lips before biting his for a while and roughly going in for a kiss. He quickly gets on top of me, not wanting to break the kiss anytime soon.
You're going a little too rough there, Hyungwon.
So~ I'm back again~
I can't make up my mind about who I want to top in this story. So I'll let you guys decide for me~
Just comment who you want to top or if you want them to switch off. I'll tally up the scores and see.
