Jenna's POV:
"You WHAT?!!" Annie screamed.
Several students looked at me, Annie, and Terry at our lunch table. I couldn't help but duck my head at her outburst.
"Yep. And There going to do a merger of Alone together and this is Gospel for the opening song." I bragged.
"How do you have that much power?" Terry asked.
"By doing this." I tilted my head to the side, and gave my best pitiful face.
Annie and Terry bursted out laughing.
"I'll bite, that was the most sad lookin orphan face I've ever seen." Terry pretended to wipe a tear from his eye.
"Thank you."
Then, Myles came to our table, and sat down.
"Hey guys." he waved.
"Hey Myles." I said back.
Annie and Terry looked at the both of us, and stood up.
"Excuse us, we have to go... Vomit somewhere, the cafeteria food isn't too good today." Annie said, and quickly left.
Myles chuckled a bit, then looked back at me. I looked down at my food hiding the fact that my face was as red as an ornament.
"So." he said.
"Yeah?"
"I'm alone. Your alone. So... Lets be Alone together!" he sang.
I almost spit out my sandwich to keep from laughing so hard.
"How long have you've been saving that one for?" I tried to composed myself.
"Since the dance." he smiled.
"Ah. Figures."
"Speaking of, we haven't done alot together since then." Myles pointed out.
Since the dance, I've been at rehersals for the festival, and mad core shopping for Christmas Decorations for the boys. They were reluctant to do much, but when I rubbed the salts in their wounds about losing in Paintball, they were motivated.
"Yeah, I've just been really busy these past few weeks."
"Well you should take a break from your hard work, and we can hang out afterschool."
"Um, I guess as long as I'm home for dinner, my parents won't kill me. So yeah I'll go."
"Great."
The bell rang, as we cleared out the lunchroom, and went our separate ways. Class felt even slower after lunch. I kept staring at the clock, waiting for the final class of the day to end. When the bell rang, I practically jumped out of my seat to meet hp with Myles. I texted Pete that I was staying afterschool today, and stood outside waiting.
"Boo." he said behind me.
"Hey Myles." I said.
"I didn't surprise you, did I?"
"Nope. Sorry."
'Well maybe this might surprise you."
He handed me a plate of Gingerbread cookies from behind him.
"Thank you."
"Got 'em from the cooking class upstairs."
"They smell delicious." I took one out of the wrapping.
"I figured you'd like one. If you want, cooking club is open to new members for the holidays. There making treats to send to the orphanage downtown."
