A Portal Masters Heart

Chapter 3- Story Time!

"Woah, woah, woah! woah! So you're telling me, that my sister, is a portal master?!" Riley asked, trying to comprehend the information that was just thrown at her, same thing went with (Y/n), how did they not know this? Spy hit the merman at the back of the head. "You could've just been a little more gentler, couldn't you?" "I thought they'd be happy man! Relax!" "Can you guys please explain!" "I'll explain." They turned towards the door and saw their mum standing by the door, holding Mikey Shi just gurgled, who were these strange things? They looked funny! The woman stepped down the stairs and handed Mikey over to Riley, and looked at the Swap force team with a smile. "It's been a while, huh?" "Luna!" The ice cat smiled, skating over to the woman. "It's been so long, look at you, raising three kids, heh, and you said you hated them." "I didn't hate kids, I just had low tolerance." "How do you two know each other? or better yet! Mum! How are you not freaking out?!" The (h/c) asked, and all she got from her mother was a chuckle, she pulled out a photo, revealing her with Freeze Blade, she had a band aid on her right cheek, hair done in piggy tails, wore metal armour, and held a scythe.

"Believe it or not, I was once a fighter my self back in the day, and don't go telling me I don't look like that now." Night Shift let out a chuckle. "Hardly, you're wearing high heels." "You don't know what I've done in these shoes, you old bat." "Hey! Watch it!" "Ok, nice reunion and all, but I kinda want some answers on what the heck is going on!" Luna sighed. "I suppose I had to tell you at some point, well, I'll explain it the best way I can....."

"Long ago, magic once existed on the earth, both humans and Skylanders walking on the same earth, everything was peaceful, well, in till one day, a war broke out, the darkness was beginning to take over, that was in till a group of what spoke called 'The Strangers' came into light, they fought fiercely, willing to risk their lives for both races, and finally, after a long time period of blood being shed, the Strangers won, claiming victory, however, they came to the conclusion that the darkness would come back, and decided it would be best to separate both races, that was when the portal was created, and to activate it, only a pure blooded Stranger could do so with a special necklace, for generations, it was passed on to pure Stranger bloods, the only ones who could remember the Skylanders, while everyone else forgot them, they still had sworn duties to protect Skylands when it was needed, your father included......He never really died in an accident at work, he died on a mission, a mission that ended up getting him killed, before he died however, he wanted me to give the necklace to you, telling me that you'd make an excellent portal master, saying that he has faith in you, and that he'll always love you...

-And now it's been passed on to you." Luna finished, tears threatening to spill when she mention her beloved husband, not a day went by that she didn't miss him, his smile, his voice, his laugh, she would almost think that (Y/n) was him, counting she was so much like him, she had his sense of humour, his determination, his honesty, loyalty, everything, she always was a bit of a daddy's girl, Freeze noticed the slight tears on Luna's face, before they separated ways, they were like brother and sister, an unbreakable bond no one could taint, it pained him to see her like this. "Hey, it's ok, we know you miss him, we all do, but Mike would want us to move on, not go sulking in the corner."

Luna nodded, rubbing away her tears, and smiled at the wild cat. "Thanks Freeze Blade, you're still that kind hearted dummy I used to know." "No pro- Wait, hey! I thought we were having a-" "(Y/n)? You ok sis?" All eyes were drawn to the (h/c), who's eyes were wide and tears barely showing, gripping tightly to the necklace in her hands, so basically everything she was told was a lie? The death of her father? The necklace? Her family history? How could she tell if this wasn't a lie?

"W-why are you telling us this now? Three years, three god damn years you didn't tell us the truth! Why?! Did you think we were too stupid to understand?! You promised you would never lie to us! And you broke it! Why?!" Tears fell like wild fire, anger was clear as day in her voice, never before in her life did (Y/n) felt so betrayed, so misguided, Luna felt guilt plunge into her heart, she did promise to never lie, but she only did what Mike had asked. "Your father didn't want me to tell you two, counting that he wanted nothing more then for you two to grow up happily with out worry or fear, your dad was a very caring man, just like you, and wanted nothing more the for everyone to be happy, he promised me not to tell you two in till it was the right time, and well......that time is now, I'm sorry."

So her father didn't want to tell them? Of course, Mike was a selfless man, willing to lie to the ones he loved, no matter how much it would hurt him, after a moment of deadly silence, the (h/c) smiled, rubbing away her tears. "It's ok, just don't go keeping stuff like that from us again, please?" "No promises, but I'll try." It was silence after that not another word being spoken, when thought then came to Riley. "Hold on, you guys came here, right?" "Yeah, what's your point dude?" "Does that mean we can go to Skylands?" "I'm afraid it's not that simple." Spy Rise said. "In order for you two to enter Skylands, (Y/n) would first need to learn how to control the necklaces power, it is a lot stronger then it seems." "But in till then!" Freeze Blade said, smiling. "You think we can stay with you guys for a bit? it has been awhile since we've been on earth." Riley's face went pale, if they stayed, that meant she'd have to deal with the over grown worm! She'd rather kiss a toad then deal with him! "Oh no! Out of the que-!" "Good idea Freeze Blade! We would be able to get to know each other better then! What do you think Mikey? You think they should stay?" The (h/c) turned to the little baby boy, who giggled. "Goo!" "It's a yes from him." 'You little traitor, the only one left is mom, please say no, please say no.' "Of course, I don't see a problem with it." "Yes!" "No!" But little did they know, they just signed up for one heck of a ride with drama and chaos.
