Chapter5

"Okay, so all I have to do is pour this into the beaker" I said holding the test tube as far from my face as possible

"Well, we want to check whether the solution is acidic."

Joey said kicking up his legs on the table.

"So let me guess, you transferred from Dan high to here running away from..." he said tapping his hands on the table.

He was really useless I had to everything, what lab partner was he.

"Ah! Got it! You are running away from a heart broken relationship." As he said I couldn't help but laugh.

"That's stupid! In fact the stupidest you have come up with."

He kept on guessing about the reason why I transferred to Flickson since the period started which I found really useless, because he'll never guess it.

"Hey! Fighting with the teacher one was possibility!" he answered defensively.

"Not even close, how about just give me a hand with this?" I said trying to pour the chemical inside the beaker.

He stood up like he was going to help but not really,

"Oh! I got it, running away from a psychotic Ex" he smiled like figured out that.

"Seriously? Joey, how about you do this instead of this guessing game of yours?" I said handing him the test tube.

"Fine" He mumbled taking the test tube from my hand.

"Well about this assignment thingy, when shall we get together?" I asked sitting on the uncomfortable lab chair.

"Don't worry I'll let you know" he said pouring the chemical in to the beaker.

"Let me know? What is that suppose to mean?" I asked, what does he think he'll just call whenever he wants?

"It means I'll tell you, you know were not all free and stalk our neighbors" he aggravated me.

"I wasn't stalking!" I cried loudly that the whole class turned around.

"See now? You made the whole class think you're a stalker. Good luck getting out that." He said laughing.

I glared at him, "You are very annoying person" I said still glaring at him.

"Thank you" he smirked.

"It wasn't a compliment"

"Well I took it like it was"

This could have gone forever if the bell didn't ring.

"See around Avery! And don't worry about the assignment I'll work out a time" he smiled,

I just glanced and moved past him.

What a pain was he?

The ironic thing was I liked it when he teased me. Stupid? Yes I know.

I walked to my locker and glanced around trying to spot Jay or shyann. I didn't find them anywhere, so I spine the lock of the locker and as I tried to open it but it won't open.
