I can't begin to describe
How my insides ache
Knowing it could never be
Time to face facts
It was all but a dream
Details like ingredients
Mixed until combined
Poured from my soul
Not a drop was spared
Baked and charred
Burned alive
Your attention
All I needed to survive
But it's come and gone
Like the days sun
Leaving shadows in its absence
Only navy skies to calm my soul
Just my thoughts to keep me going
Every second of everyday
A moment that you're in my mind
