Chapter-17 (Past 1)

Anu's POV

Today morning, I saw a boy beating Naren. My heart felt bleed. I know Naren very well he interfere with anyone and he was far from rebellious behaviour. I ran to them to stop the fight. I don't even thought for a minute, whether I have that much strength or courage but I want to stop them from beating my only best friend.

At the time, I reached the site, another guy also came and stopped the fighting by dragging the another boy who was beating Naren. I don't know when I started crying. I took the hand of Naren and helped him to stand. I had taken away him from that place to a nearer bench. I went to medical room and brought the first aid kid. I did the first aid to him while still crying. He then smiled at me and said, "Hey alien, why are you crying? Do you want a chocolate!" I glared at him. He then smirked at me. I got angry and started beating him. He then crid in pain. I stopped beating and said sorry. He again smiled and said," such a crybaby you are!". This time I pouted. He said sorry and played some lame jokes. We discussed for sometime and later we went to classes.

Surya's POV

When I saw Arjun fighting with Naren, I immediately went to him to stop. I don't know what was the issue but I know my brother won't go to fight without proper reason. If it goes to the notice of principal, he will be suspended or get an equal punishment. I reached him quickly and dragged him from the fight. At the same time, Anu came and she took away Naren while crying. I never know she had such a strong bond with him. She must hate my brother and of course me for being his brother. But I feel honoured for that. Because my brother is more important to me than any other.

After sometime, I asked my brother about the fight. I want to know the reason. He said Naren and his gang went to fight with his friend when he was alone while going to home, yesterday. Now he was in hospital with severe injuries. So he fought for his friend. Valid reason.

Then few doubts arised in my brain. As far as I know, Naren had no such gang and yesterday evening, I saw him going to library with Anu. Then how can he will beat Arjun's friend. I told the same to Kittu. He gave me a known look and said there was another Naren in another section and Arjun may be confused since he was new to this college.

I was frightened with his words. Poor Naren! He got wounded because of my brother's misunderstanding. If Anu came to know about this, for sure, she will kill us for her friend. I want to ask Arjun to give an apology to Naren for his misbehavior.

Next day

I'm on my way to school. At the entrance of the school, I saw Anu. She was searching for someone, may be for us to beat. She is also hiding something in her bag by holding it with one hand inside. Suddenly she spotted me and was running towards me. I don't know what was going to happen and I was frightened. Don't take my feelings as silly because who the hell will want to be beaten by a girl in front of every one. I tried to hide my face and walked fast. But she reached me and taken out the hidden thing and offered to me. It was seemed to be a letter or greeting card or a painting.....
I was shocked with her surprise. She whispered a "Thanks for saving Naren" and went away to the class.

Anu's POV

I went to home after school thinking of Naren. I don't know why they fought but I know Naren was innocent. I want to preparr a greeting card for him stating "Get well soon". While making it, I remembered the person who saved Naren. I want to thank him for his help. But I know about myself so much that I cannot even stand in front of strangers. So I want to prepare another card for him with a small painting and a Thanks. I added this to my long to-do list.

Next day, I waited for him at the entrance of the school. When I found him, he was doing strange things like hiding his face and running. I went to him fastly and gave the card while saying thanks but it was went out from my mouth with very small sound. I was even unable to made an eye contact so I left him after giving the card even without looking at him.

It's another time, I saw that Idiot who fought with Naren yesterday, was beating another guy...............
