i pried my swollen eyes open, quietly grunting as i sat up and put my glasses on. i slowly shuffled off my bed, throwing the thick blanket off my thin body. i crawled out of bed and stood up, sluggishly making my way to the bathroom to wash up. i switched the lights on in the bathroom and swiftly splashed his face with water, gently patting it right after. i walked back to his room, randomly grabbing a pair of jeans and a cantaloupe-colored sweatshirt. i grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs and hastily unlocked the door, slamming it shut after i exited out of it, a loud bang following.

since my mother left early, she can't drive me to school, which was sort of a good thing. i don't want to experience that hell of a ride again. as i took my time walking, the deep gray sky slowly shifted to a faint arctic blue as the sun hid behind the few clouds floating in the sky. i began fiddling with my pockets, the slight coldness nipping at my cheeks. the silence was rudely interrupted with a blood-curdling scream from a female. i jerked my head back and i came to a stop, looking in a dark alley, seeing nothing but a tall man. his sleek, black hair shined luminously from the little light from the sun.
his facial structure looked extremely similar to mingyu's, but i know for a fact mingyu did not have black hair. the man jolted his head to his left, his shaded eyes piercing through my chest.
my eyes widened and i ran as fast as my scrawny and fragile legs could go. sharp, cold breaths escaped my mouth, tears threatening to fall due to the wind slapping my face. my lungs were on fire and my legs were getting weaker every step i took.
my frosted brown hair rapidly bounced on my forehead as i started slowing down, and finally, my legs gave up. i felt strong, muscular arms wrap around my long neck, nearly choking me. his hot breath met my ear as my head began to pound.
this isn't good at all.
