I opened my eyes and looked confused around. I was lying on a simple bed in a tent and I had no idea where I was. A man came into the tent and gave me a smile.
"Welcome Adam to my circus!" said the man. "How do you know my name?" I asked confused. "We know everyone!" he said. "Who are you? if you don't mind me asking!" I asked. "My name is Vlad!" he presented.

"You will meet the others after your transformation!" said Vlad. I was forced to drink his blood and then he broke my neck. "Sleep well!" he said and went out.

When I woke up the next morning I saw a woman with red hair and next to her stood a little girl with blond hair.
The red-haired woman throw a body to me and I drank the blood. She also gave me a silver ring with a blue stone to protect me from the sun.
"My name is Alison and this is my daughter Ellie!" she said. "I'm Adam!" I replied and wiped away the blood. "I know!" said Alison with a smile. "How can everyone know me?" I asked. "You are special!" she said.

"I love your wedding ring!" said Ellie with a smirk. "You have to wait unti the show starts!" replied Alison strictly. "But mommy!" protested Ellie and crossed her arms. "Go to the village if you have to, but do not draw too much attention!" said Alison. "Thanks mommy!" replied Ellie and ran away.
"She likes to steal things that are valuable!" said Alison and laughed softly. "But it's illegal!" I replied. "The police can not do anything!" she said. "But it is still a crime!" I replied. "You belong to us now and you have get used to it!" said Alison coldly and I didn't say against her.
Alison showed me around and told that the circus had existed since the middle ages and the people here was either vampires or witches.
"What's your job?" I asked and she smirked. "My job is to attract men to the circus to kill them!" said Alison.
"Like mermaids?" I asked and she gave me a cold glance. "Do not compare vampires with mermaids, they just fool down sailors to the seabed who have been unfaithful to their wives!" said Alison and I didn't asked more questions.
"Your job here is to drink blood from the visitors or you will die!" she said. "I understand!" I replied. "Good!" said Alison and she smiled when her daughter returned.
I went back to my tent and sat down on the bed. Yesterday I was just a normal human and now I'm a vampire. Would I ever see Agnes again?
