Adam's: POV

-Flashback-

The 7th of June year 1803 London

"Good day mother!" I said. "Hello Adam!" replied Leila and gave her son a weak smile. "Your mother has one year left to live!" said the doctor and I nodded. "I'm not going to miss my grandchild's birth!" replied Leila. "Your health is more importen!" I said and platted her shoulder.

"I know!" replied Leila and coughed. "I visited father and Neil's grave today!" I said and a tear ran down her pale cheek. "The disease took them away from us too early!" replied mother sadly.

I made a cup of hot tea to her and I felt how the fever burned under her hot skin.

"Your son is taken very good care of you!" said Arthur and Leila smiled. "Thank you, sir!" I replied. "I can not save your mother, I hope you understand that!" said Arthur. "Yes!" I replied and wiped away a tear. "Good afternoon, Mrs. Lambert!" he said and walked out.

"Have you told William the news?" asked Leila. "Not yet!" I said and massaged my baby bump. "Go and tell him, he will be so happy!" replied Leila. "I can't leave you here!" I said. "I will not die today, tell him now!" replied Leila. I said goodbye and walked home.

My husband met me in the hallway and he kissed my lips. He noticed that something was wrong.

"How is Leila?" asked William worried. "She has one year left to live!" I said sadly. "I'm so sorry to hear!" he replied and hugged me. "I have already lost father and my brother!" I said crying. "Life is unfair!" replied William.

"But I've good news too!" I said and showed him my bump. "Oh my god!" replied William happily. "We are going to be a family!" I said with a smile.
