you weren't the only one that was hurting but of course you knew that.
Cheryl herself cried herself to sleep most nights knowing that her brother would never come back, knowing that she would never see him again her twin , her other half , her soul mate. But then she also cried for breaking up with you the love of her life, her world, her own piece of heaven.

She knew it was her fault she had let her pain and sorrow judgment, her feelings , everything really and now she could do nothing to bring you back. She was getting ready for the gala that she obviously didn't want to go but had to.So she curled her long red hair and putting her red dress on then applying a little bit of makeup and finally putting her red lipstick on her full lips .

She looked in the mirror and wished you could be here by her side holding her close while whispering sweet nothings in her ear. A tear fell but she whipped it quickly taking her purse and walking out of her room and down the stairs so they could leave .
Once there your absence hit Cheryl like nothing else and she almost fell apart right then and there but suddenly she felt a hand around her waist holding her and as she turned her head she came face to face with Betty who gave her a small smile as she whispered in a soothing voice "shh , everything's going to be okay Cheryl you just wait okay ?" she squeezed her a little and with that she left . Cheryl didn't know what to take from all of this but she didn't have much time to think it through because suddenly everyone became silent and looked at the stage where you were sitting in front of the piano as you started playing.

Cheryls breath was knocked out of her lungs as she gasped at your presence and at the fact that you were here looking at her straight in the eyes as you started playing Red by Taylor Swift (but the fifth harmony cover)
Loving her was like

down a dead end street...

forgetting her was like trying to know somebody you've never met

Cheryl had tears in her eyes as you took a deep breath thanking everyone as you stood up leaving the stage and going out to the balcony for some fresh air and to think.
You were looking at her stars trying to calm yourself when you heard the door open and then close signaling someone came out , the person walked and stood beside you looking straight ahead at the trees and the city lights. Of course you knew it was Cheryl you knew her sent , her aura you could pinpoint those things everywhere.

Noone spoke for a while they were getting used to being close to each other after so long when suddenly Cheryl spoke or better yet whispered " I'm sorry y/n , I'm so so sorry " and a few tears escaped her eyes "why did you do it Cheryl? why did you break up with me ? was i not enough? Did I do something ?what?" you said with a small voice thinking that if you spoke any louder you would start crying and never stop.

Cheryl quickly shook her head and spoke " no baby , you didn't do anything and of course you're enough you'll always be enough. God I was hurting and I didn't know what I was doing and when I realized it was too late I had already hurt you and I was afraid that if I came back i would hurt you again, so I stayed away , but believe me not a day did I spend where I wasn't hurting at what I did , not even a day didn't go where I wasn't missing you so much that I wanted to run to you , but I was afraid " she said as you stood there hearing and thinking not saying anything though " please say something baby " Cheryl spoke again slowly while looking at you and without even thinking you turn around and took her in a embrace so strong yet gentle that you hopped would put together not only her broken pieces but also yours .

"Don't you ever do anything like that again , do you hear me ? ever !" you said between sobs as you pulled away from the embrace and kissed her with all of your heart and soul. " Gideon I missed you so much baby , don't ever leave me again please " you said to her and she smiled at you saying " never , never again baby " she said and then kissed you again putting her all in the kiss making you understand that you had your world back and would never loose it ever again . You were going to be okay no matter what life threw at your way you knew that with Cheryl by your side you could conquer the world if you wanted to .
