It was friday
When we met at the bay
Heading in opposite ways
As the sun struck us with it's rays.
We bumped into each other
And met with each other's gaze
Not knowingly, a smile formed in my face
Surprised! You smiled too, that made me so amazed.
That day feels so right
Then I thought, it was love at first sight
Blushing at the thought
Can't decide if I'll brush that off.
At night, I can't take you out of my mind
Rolling crazily in bed
Like I didn't drink my meds
Can't sleep, with you meddling in my head.
Hoping to see you again
Waiting for that day to happen
Hoping to see those dazzling eyes
That with just a single glance, my heartbeat rise
One day, I'll get to see you again
Not giving up
On wanting you, Even if I feel the pain
As I step in the rain.
